It is being observed that youngsters, after completing their formal tuition, choose to be on their own. Many suggest that this afford umpteen benefits as fosters a sense of independence. However, a lobby does not align with the former view and believe that its demerits outweighs the merits.

To begin with, the view which leans towards the positive aspects of newly developing propensity believe that it makes the young individuals more responsible and independent; they do not rely on their fathers and mothers for financial support anymore. They start working, either full-time or part-time, in order to make a living. This aids in instilling confidence in them, making them capable of handling challenges, and eventually coaching them how to carry themselves around successfully. On top of that, it also afford colossal  pros to the parents as they do not have to look after their young ones and can enjoy their life after working for several years, allowing them a free life without needing to care for their wards.

On the other hand, there are few challenges that are involved in such a lifestyle. As young individuals start to live with other housemates, they might get easily influenced by them, and as there is no one to monitor them, whom they have to answer for any misconduct, many fear that they might go astray, and pick up bad habits. Moreover, such young individuals also many times become apathetic towards their parents: they stop caring for the latter, turning them into self-centered personalities, who are often a misfit for family life.

To recapitulate, this new practice which is gaining popularity across the globe, may have some drawbacks, but its advantages outshine its disadvantages and in my opinion, it is beneficial for both parents and children.
