Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

  • Many people argue that restaurants should be required to disclose the nutritional information of the dishes they serve.

Advantage

  • Customers will be able to decide how much to consume as per their body proportions

  • They will be able avoid food that has ingredients that can cause them allergic reactions or affect their health adversely

Disadvantage

  • This could creating misplaced notions about food consumptions habits and lead people to only calculate calories instead of consuming food

  • The food could become expensive since restaurants would need to carry out research and also take more time to prepare since the measured will have to be accurate for each preparation.

  • TAKE THE SECRETS AWAY

Eating out is an exciting opportunity for all as they get to escape the mundane of cooking at home. However, will it remain exciting and beneficial enough if they were informed about nutritional content served to them in the delicacies they consume. Thus, it becomes imperative to compare pros and cons of this proposal.

On the effulgent side, consumers will be able to assess the quantities of various ingredients being ingested with each serving, and decide upon portions to eat as per specific calorie requirements. Those conscious about their weight, girth of waist and overall health, could enjoy their favorite cuisines without harboring qualms about jeopardizing their physical appearance and well-being by surrendering to temptation to gratify their taste buds.

Similarly, another conspicuous reward of this policy is providing an effective safeguard to those susceptible to food allergies; it will become easier for one to assess the condiments and  substances used in preparation of delicacies and  circumvent having nourishment that can  cause adverse reactions. This will particularly assist those having sensitivity to soy, fish, peanuts, and  citrus and acidic content since these have a potential to cause skin rashes and also respiration disorders.

On the obsidian side, the only prominent downside of this policy is forgoing culinary innovation and surprises; everything used in preparing dishes will be made public beforehand, leaving little for those dining to explore the texture and flavor. Similarly, this arrangement might make eating out expensive since restaurants will need to research ingredients and list them on the menu,  thinning the crowds of visitors as only the elite will be able to afford outside food.

In hindsight, although there are some downsides of this proposal, considering the favorable impact it is bound to have on the public health at large, it will be quite appropriate to suggest application of this norm as a salient feature of food services afforded by every restaurant and food joint.

It is proposed by many that eateries should mention the nutritional value of each delicacy they serve. While this practice carries certain benefits, it remains to be seen whether these outsrip detriments.

Some people think eating meat is bad for health

.

As per certain health experts, meat eaters  are predisposed to several health challenges. However, this perception can be questioned on various grounds.

The vehement lobbyists vouching for non-meat nourishment profess that those consuming non-vegetarian meals makes one vulnerable to a slew of severe health hazards - that can have an enduring impact on health, by virtue of being laden with saturated and unsaturated fats that can augment cholesterol levels and precipitate umpteen illnesses such as heart disease, liver dysfunction and even bowel cancers. Several studies have attributed a spurt in cardiac conditions in western conditions to regular eating of various flesh, especially the one derived from lamb, beef and pork.

However, the former view is comprehensively quashed by the advocates of meat products. As per them, the fears expressed  by vegetarians hold little substance; it is not the food derived from cows, goats, or chicken, exposing people to diseases, but the sedentary lifestyles; a feature affecting even vegans in equal measures. They often cite the historical evidence of meat being a fulfilling nourishment  to counter the claims of  the latter by quoting that eskimos completely relied on meat, and sustained a robust health, until development touched them, and they adopted indolent ways of life.

Similarly, this nourishment is a rich source of protein, iron, and vitamins: B12, and D, that are hard to derive from other options since cereals, vegetables and fruits have these in either complex form, or minuscule quantities. To corroborate, athletes in endurance sports, soldiers and those working in taxing conditions are recommended this nutrition regularly.

In hindsight, quite contrary to the modern perception, food derived from the flesh of animals, birds and fish, is laden with abundant nutrients that if taken in sync with active lifestyle, can bolster well being.

Ielts Essay Which Food Is Better  Home or restuarant

With life becoming busier and complexity taking front seat, the food habits of people across the world have undergone a sea change and many have started preferring having their food in restaurants instead of cooking food at home as they feel that quality of food available at good hotels is better than food cooked in kitchen. Some people are pretty concerned about these changes and feel that this change is not good.

The people who have started choosing eating outside in some quality restaurant rather than cooking in their own kitchens feel that these food joints are better prepared to offer food that has all ingredients and nutrients required to live healthy. Hotels offering quality food services have better resources in form of trained chefs and dieticians who have an in-depth knowledge of calorie and nourishment requirements of human body, which has become a luxury for most of consumers who cannot afford  to think about a nourishing belly full because of their engagements in their work and social circles.

Besides restaurant diet being a healthy option, it also happens to save them time and undue stress which they have to face after a long day’s hard work. The modern concept of life prefers career over kitchen.

On contrary some  people think that this is not exactly the way the things should go, because the first objective human life is a balanced and nutritious diet which cannot never be made available even by the best of restaurants because of their commercial compulsions of keeping taste on priority over health. This is having serious implications on health of people as their bodies are losing ability to counter ailments.

In conclusion I wouldsay that homemade food is always healthy and has no alternative
