In many countries it is easy to apply and to get a credit card. However, credit card debt causes many problems and is hard to pay back. Do you think the advantages of credit cards outweight the disadvantages?

Nowadays, it requires little effort to acquire a new credit card, but does the use of this new tool prove more rewarding, or is it more of a bane, a matter that needs a profound analysis.

To embark upon the discussion, this form of plastic money has made life literally effortless in many ways: there is hardly any need to plan a budget before going out shopping; one can make purchases anytime without having to depend on carrying money. For instance, while paying bills at the cash counter one might fall short of cash, in that case, one would either pull out some items from the cart, or rush to an A.T.M. Moreover, users of these facilities can avail exciting offers: discounts, reward points, and so forth. In a crisis, many middle-class people depend on credit cards for their daily living and they get a certain time period to make repayments to the banks.

Nevertheless, there is always the other side of the coin. It has been observed that  while using this mode of transacting many often end up spending more than what they afford, which pushes them into serious financial troubles, making  them vulnerable to exorbitant penalties, fines, and a poor credit rating, and so forth, and  eventually,  crises, stress, worries, and anxiety, among others. Furthermore, since the proliferation  of this form of money, instances of bank frauds all over the world have also witnessed a steep rise, making people pay back for the purchases they have not done.

To recapitulate, every coin has two sides, but credit cards are laden with a plethora of advantages, which eclipse all the pitfalls. Hence, I believe that one must make prudent use of such privileges.

It is better to save money than to spend it. How far do you agree with this statement? Is saving more important than spending in today’s world?

It is better to save money than to spend it. How far do you agree with this statement? Is saving more important than spending in today’s world? Give reasons for your answer and provide ideas and examples from your own experience. You should write at least 250 words.

Saving, rather than being a spendthrift, is considered to be a better practice for making future secure and safe. Whereas many favor the above notion, a few register their disapproval.

It is said that one should avoid squandering monetary resources; one cannot predict the future; therefore, they should be well prepared for any contingency that might arise such as medical emergencies. Moreover,  in this era, where everyone is facing uncertainty due to inflation, and are barely able to make both ends meet, keeping aside something for rainy days is quite rational; one does not have to look elsewhere, for help from others even the close ones, and thus, saving their relationships.

Similarly, compared to the past, employment scenario has become extremely volatile due to which  creating a financial buffer by becoming a prudent spender rather than being extravagant, has become the need of the hour to ensure comfortable subsistence in case people are laid off from the work or are forced to accept reduced salaries.

Nonetheless, those cynical to this phenomenon feel that instead of enjoying the current moments, preparing for upcoming  days sounds a little naïve, for this will not only impact their social lifestyle but will also hamper their personality and performance; always thinking of investment might turn one pessimistic due to always staying engaged in spending frugally than enjoying the present. One deserves to enjoy the exploits of their hard work by consuming comforts and luxuries, they hard-earned money can buy them.

To conclude, I personally feel that it entirely depends upon the individual and their way of living, whether they want to opt for saving or enjoy this resource today. However, it is always advisable to set aside a small portion of earnings to surmount the unannounced challenges occurring in future.

A majority believe in saving a lion’s share of their earnings rather than spending it, but there are those who deny this fact and preach consuming it. In my opinion, having reserves is important for future needs, but  nonetheless performing some expenditures is also necessary for enjoying life.

Having more in the form of savings is crucial as this can have a profound impact on the present and the future. For example, with every passing year, inflation is rising and prices are spiraling, making it imperative to create a buffer to cushion for increased cost of living later. Also, Illness is another factor that requires a huge amount of money, as medical facilities are getting expensive day by day and affording them is becoming a luxury for many. Thus, keeping aside something for the rainy day has become the need of the hour as it can render financial stability and assurance of a secure future. This practice and thought has  dominated society since ages, and people have yielded rich benefits.

However, some are skeptical of the former approach, and profess following a lifestyle which is more relaxed, that entails spending a greater ratio than conserving money. This way of living is more concerned with enjoying life in the present and improving its quality. Such people are wedded to the thought that they have all the privilege to enjoy the exploits of their hard work. Moreover, since  the future is uncertain, there is little rationale to worry about the later years and sacrifice today for tomorrow.

To conclude, both approaches toward life have their pros and cons, but savings is more crucial for a better and safer future than spending huge amounts on things that will bring no value and contribute towards an unstable future.

Introduction

Nowadays, digital currencies are gaining prominence across the world. This can be attributed to numerous reasons, but one must not forget that this phenomenon, although, has umpteen pros, there are certain serious drawbacks.

To begin with, the primary motivation behind crypto currencies gaining popularity is the assumption of this form of money enjoying acceptability across the world. By virtue of being operated online, this form of money  does not need any bank authorized transfer channel or clearance from governments , but can be transferred to any part of the world at the simple click of the button, saving immense time and amount of money. Many opine that this convenience has persuaded several trading businesses and individuals to resort to utilizing this financial instrument.

Having said that, even though the supporters of this kind of financial resources cite several advantages, it is hard to overlook the failings associated with it. The most prominent of the pitfalls is that online money does not enjoy a legal status anywhere in the world and it is feared that the day regimes  decide to proscribe (ban) this resource, the owners of such money will be in deep trouble and lose all their financial holdings and suffer immense financial losses.

Similarly, it is undeniable that this monetary resource is highly vulnerable to fluctuations, and experiences frequent ups and downs in the value in a similar way to the stocks . This implies that the face value mentioned on this money might not fetch a similar price. There have been several reports of many losing millions due to this volatility

Overall, the convenience offered may have made virtual money popular, but nonetheless it is laden (loaded) with innumerable shortcomings and can cause people colossal financial losses. Thus  it is an unfavorable evolution.
