Many regional areas across the world face a dearth of appropriately equipped  schools and hospitals, which presents a steep challenge to the ruralites. To overcome this problem, many are persuaded to propose making it mandatory for the freshly graduated teaching and health professionals to serve in rural areas before working in cities, but there are voices of dissent too.

The acute shortage of quality educational and medical facilities has prompted many to suggest that the freshly graduated health and teaching professionals should compulsorily serve in villages before engaging professionally in cities. However, others contest this and assert that this should be the prerogative of the concerned individuals.

Many vehemently rally behind the idea of stipulating working in regional areas for these professionals, for sometime. This view is primarily based on the virtue of giving back something to society in the lieu of the support offered by it, in the form of subsidized education. Most curriculum in such study programs  is publicly funded using the money raised from taxes, otherwise pursuing such courses will be difficult for a majority of students. This makes it ethically valid for these professionals to reciprocate in a similar manner.

Moreover, such an arrangement will eventually benefit young doctors and teachers who will not only gain an expansive exposure of working with diverse communities in difficult conditions but also become familiar with the challenges facing villagers. This will help them develop empathy towards the affected people and encourage them to discover solutions.

Nevertheless, the other lobby feels working out of cities or towns should be a chosen option rather than an imposed one. Enforcing such a condition for professionals in  medicine and teaching is no less than a bias. When those in other occupations enjoy all the liberty to engage wherever they want, it seems quite unwarranted to coax these professionals to work in specific areas.

Overall, after assessing both the viewpoints I feel this is an ideal proposal to surmount the gap in educational and health care facilities in villages, but the state should ensure that such assignments remain financially lucrative, and enriching for such practitioners.

Nowadays the most important task is the environmental protection of our planet for future generations. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Human activities have greatly impacted the environment. Thus, ensuring that it stays safe for the next generation is the task that needs to be allocated priority in contemporary times.

Rapid industrialization and deforestation has engendered colossal pollution, causing myriads of health problems, especially in children. The emissions of carbon and other greenhouse gasses from Industries and factories are rendering the air unbreathable, and also causing immense climatic changes. Thus, the need of the hour is to embrace strict guidelines to mitigate the pollutants and protect the planet since if the steps are not taken urgently, the environment would become inhospitable for the future generations. For example, environmentalists have given warning calls and are insisting on changing the fuel: from fossil to greener alternatives, being used and rewilding, so as to ensure that the carbon footprint is minimized and  the globe can be prevented from becoming hostile for life.

Furthermore, the exploitation of finite resources has spiraled, and it is feared that if things progress at this speed, the naturally occurring minerals will cease to exist, jeopardizing the survival of the inhabitants populating this planet in some years from now. To corroborate, several minerals and materials have started exhausting and mining activity has stopped at numerous locations. Similarly, the crude oil reserves are also drying out fast. Ergo, as per several experts, there is dire need to conserve these naturally occurring minerals by discovering alternatives, so that the upcoming generations can use those.

Thus, it can be safely asserted that protecting whatever is left of the ecology for those who would inhabit the earth in some decades from now is a job of paramount importance. Deploying preservation strategies could help save resources even for the current generation, and make the world a better place to live.

Some people think it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools and some others feel that they benefit more from attending mixed schools. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people think it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools and some others feel that they benefit more from attending mixed schools. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

When it comes to the education of boys and girls, there are many who suggest that it is always practical to send children to distinct schools while others oppose this notion and feel that co-educational institutions are better.

To begin with, it has been observed that there are many families that do not want to expose their little one to the mixed academic settings due to their orthodox views. They feel visiting gender specific schools can allow learners to focus more on their studies as when boys and girls study together, they get easily distracted, and   consequently, go astray, adversely impacting their behavior, as well as studies.

However, numerous commentators quash this proposal and feel that the pupils can get a better environment if they receive education in co-educational formal tuition, they will learn how to stay together, regardless of the gender, and accommodate each other. They will learn to co-habit and appreciate strengths and weaknesses of each other, making them adaptable and more prudent, and helping them forge meaningful relations later as adults.

Furthermore, this can help mitigate gender bias; they will learn appreciate, respect and cooperate with each other. This can prove to be extremely fruitful in concurrent times when interactions in social, and professional realms, have become more rampant, and men and women have to operate jointly while chasing objectives and societal and organizational level. This aspect can been substantiated by citing of successful male and female professionals who admitted that studying in mixed settings made them confident about working together by brushing aside prejudices.

In hindsight, I personally opine that it is always good to follow a coeducational formal tuition system. This development will not only eliminate discrimination from society but also transform the personality of children, capable of communicating more openly with opposite sex.

It is important for all towns and cities to have large outdoor spaces such as squares and parks. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

It is important for all towns and cities to have large outdoor spaces such as squares and parks. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

In the contemporary times, when the situation is becoming tumultuous and simultaneously there is a rise in health issues due to hectic professional schedules, construction of open lawns has become the need of the hour. Many are in the support of the above proposal. However, there are a few who register their disapproval.

Undeniably, one of the prominent reasons behind creating provision for open  and green spaces is to improve public health. Nowadays, most are having hectic schedules, are working overtime, spending most of their time indoors, thereby making compromises with their mental and physical wellbeing. Therefore, having parks will provide them with an outdoor area where they can inhale the fresh air while doing exercises and remain relaxed and physically healthy.

Moreover, with the invention of the latest gadgets, most individuals are spending very less time interacting with the society in person.  Having an option to access squares might increase the possibility of socializing with their neighbors, friends and so on. Consequently, individuals will be able to appreciate the importance of social get-togethers and will make efforts to create a balance between their professional and social realms.

Nonetheless, the critics cynical to the above notion, consider it as a wasteful use of invaluable land resources. They feel that in the situation where many are paying huge amounts to purchase their own house because of lack of dwelling units, building these open spaces will exacerbate the situation since only a minority will access such locations/ facilities. Thus, developing green buffers would serve little purpose if people cannot live around them.

To conclude, I personally feel that the benefits associated with this arrangement allows the society to overlook the grey shades of this setting as health of the citizens is a crucial element which cannot be compromised with

The information revolution has changed the ways of mass communication and had some negative and positive effects(influence) on individuals’ lives as well as on society

As per a common perception, the contemporary introductions in the realm of mass communication have had a profound influence on citizens and societies both, positive and negative.I partially concur with this notion and shall elucidate my inclination in the following paragraphs

Undeniably, various tools of disseminating information: television, radio and more recently internet-driven social media, have made it possible for people to know about their desired subjects more accurately and widely, and make well-informed decisions. For instance, students attempting to join overseas education can now derive details about colleges and courses through television and sites, like twitter, and compare the best available options.

Moreover, the corrupting influence of this modern tool is another factor that forces many to suggest the deepening consequences on individual and social psyche. Several lobbies illustrate the distortion in behavior of umpteen youngsters caused by violence-laden content, in the form of movies, programs and other activities such as violent sports such as WWE. There has been an exponential rise in juvenile crime in various parts of the world and the primary culprit has been the glamorous depiction of unlawful activities in films and soap operas.

Nevertheless, some doubt the validity of this claim and assert that humans have always relied on their social networks, for they enjoy a mutual trust, and are aware of the commercial compulsions of media houses; thus they are rarely swayed by what is being propagated by audio and visual media. To corroborate, ones buying automobiles, or electronic goods consult their peers and loved ones, instead of media to make purchase decisions.

Overall, it can be said that the mass communication methods exert influence only to a limited extent, but when it comes to deciding about certain critical areas, people remain unaffected by the media opinions.

While studying some students take weekend or evening jobs to help with expenditure. How do you feel about this? What are the drawbacks & benefits of such a decision.

In concurrent times, a charged debate is making rounds in different sections of society regarding the ubiquitous practice of students engaging themselves in part time jobs to meet their financial demands. Some feel the idea of supplementing jobs  with studies is beneficial, while others agree to disagree with the same.

An army of people is convinced that learners taking up part time jobs enjoy several advantages over those engaging only with academic pursuits. They feel youngsters joining some employment with university or college can gain lasting self esteem and greater sense of responsibility, helping in building their self-reliant personality at early stages of their lives. Besides this, managing studies and work obligations at the same time can foster their time management skills, consequently equipping them with multitasking abilities.

Moreover, students earning money during their academic period can meet their monetary  expenses with their own salaries, and can learn money management strategies, helpful in every walk of life. Additionally, achieving more experience in a particular field by doing internships and side jobs can help them attain better expertise that can augment their chances of gaining a better employment future.

Nevertheless, some believe adopting this practice can bring umpteen number of troubles. They reckon learners undertaking jobs can get distracted from their prime objective, accomplishing the academic goals, thereby affecting their performance. Also, students who start earning at an early stage of life may get disenchanted from their studies altogether, and  in extreme cases, they may also abandon their course, which can hamper their prospects of carving out progressive careers later.

Overall,  I opine merits of inculcating working habits while studying, outshines the drawbacks as it can help in overall development of young individuals, by boosting their skill sets and by teaching them various life management strategies.

It is difficult for people in the cities to get physical exercises. Why is this the case? What can be done to solve this problem?

It is difficult for people in the cities to get physical exercises. Why is this the case?  What can be done to solve this problem?

It is quite commonly observed that urbanites are finding it hard to engage in endeavors that involve physical exertion. Although this can be attributed to the problems that are their own in the making, some other aspects also influence this trend. Nevertheless, a little judicious pondering can bring out practical solutions.

Even though technology has  always rendered an ease of life, the paradox is that it is also condemning city dwellers to sedentary lifestyles. Apart from being overwhelmed by technological interventions in the professional and  social life, where one has become more prone to using appliances, equipment and facilities, like escalators, cars and so on to negotiate every day challenges,  people are also immersed in technology driven entertainment mediums that has helped ensure that they remain miles away from committing themselves to any kind of physical workouts.

Similarly, distances are  also to blame for this. Rapid urbanization has brought almost every vacant space under the occupation of concrete, encroaching parks and obliterating green buffers in the process. The venues, such as stadiums, parks and gyms are no more a neighborhood affair, and require one to spend time reaching these locations, which act as deterrents to integration of healthy regimes in daily routines.

Nonetheless, the challenge is surmountable if people adopt a prudent approach at their level such as walking and establishing a minimum benchmark distance for  every day, and taking stairs wherever possible. Moreover, they must abandon their love for technology at least twice in a week and organize group sports or community activities with their families and neighbors.

Overall, the absence of physical efforts and labor can have dire consequences for the urban dwellers, in the form of poor physical and mental well being. However, integrating practices that necessitate manual efforts can act as a reliable remedy though it is not panacea.

Does television remove our loneliness or not?

Many people believe that television helps remove our loneliness

Television has revolutionized the realm of personalized entertainment, and is often deemed as a productive companion in solitude, but does this notion hold substance is a matter worth delving deeper into.

Undeniably, this modern device has helped those living on their own tremendously by filling up their moments, and surroundings, of seclusion with affable sounds of music, laughter, emotional portrayals - amusing content, sports programs and music concerts; inputs about current happenings through news, and so on, letting them experience the warmth of joy, empathy, energy; and alternatively, sorrows, wherein one is exposed to such sentiments through the portrayals of anguish, grief and distress through characters in movies, soap operas.

Moreover, modern lifestyles entail an overwhelming engagement with professional obligations, this technological aid comes in as a respite for those returning home physically and mentally drained, with little energy and enthusiasm remaining for going and  interacting  with others in their social circles: it allows one to entertain themselves within the confines of their comfort zones and forgo the arduous task of dressing up and stepping out of home to socialize.

Nonetheless, by virtue of humans being gregarious creatures, many dread  inhabiting such lifestyles; this machine has become a medium of addiction and social isolation rather than offering companionship when someone is alone. Watching TV engages  viewers, so profoundly,  with the content that they are left bewildered, turning them oblivious of   their surroundings, in the process, discouraging interaction even with those around them, fueling a sense of aloofness and detachment, making them feel despondent and abandoned.

In hindsight, excess of everything is bad; in the same way, using television as a way to fulfill the need of being among loved ones does help; however, this can turn into an obsession if excessively used. Thus, prudence is recommended.

The visitors should adopt and take up the customs and traditions of the country they are visiting

Traveling has become a ubiquitous phenomenon in contemporary times, raising a controversial question that whether those undertaking this endeavor should embrace native customs of host society, or should the latter welcome diversity. The following paragraphs will critically analyze this matter.

An army of people suggests that travelers should subscribe to customs of the destination society: this would help them explore native practices more closely as they would be accepted by locals without reluctance, creating a bonhomie between the two cultures and establishing a dialog that helps the former the experience the host society and its aspirations elaborately. Besides this, they would also be able to circumvent any possibilities of offending the natives by desecrating their conventions and beliefs.

However, the former view holds little substance in the concurrent era when the world is becoming highly globalized. This approach reflects a hostile attitude and is likely to fetch similar responses from other societies, thereby affecting the harmonious environment of the world. Those visiting a country are there to observe and experience the difference of traditions and rituals, but not to abandon their own.

Moreover, such an inhospitable attitude is bound to have a long lasting impact on tourism of the host country that will be extremely adverse. The affected visitors will carry home the negative opinions and spread them far and wide; consequently, the influx of the alien travelers will dramatically reduce, impacting not only the local employment in businesses that heavily rely on this trade and also the foreign exchange earnings.

Overall, disputes aside, the unfriendly approach towards foreign individuals entering a country for a short term is unwarranted; they should be afforded freedom to continue with their legal native practices. It will not only boost the reputation of destination countries but also promote tourism.

"City Planners' new designs include setting up schools, markets, and commercial places (offices) in different areas of the city. Do you think it will help the city dwellers?"

Modern city planners have changed their agenda and are now focused on establishing educational institutes, business areas in the different parts of the urban locations. Some are of the opinion that this setting will turn out to be beneficial for the urbanites, while others raise their voice in dissent.

A lobby is of the view that favoring such an arrangement could render a major advantage in form of alleviating the traffic congestion on roads. This view is primarily based on the assumption that most of the motorists and users of public means of transport are the people staying at distant locations from their offices or shopping districts. Therefore, if these facilities were constructed close to where people resided, it would reduce the distance and duration of their travel. Thus, letting them enjoy their journeys by thinning traffic.

Additionally, it will bolster the development of those areas which are still underdeveloped despite being part of metropolis since building education facilities and office premises in close vicinity will allow the individuals to enjoy these opportunities that were previously unavailable. Now, they will get a chance to gain employment, as well as education.

Nonetheless, those opposing this setting are of the belief that this would create chaos rather than bringing relief. Executing the layout changes would convert the available open spaces into the commercial places or education institutions, leaving behind no space to relax or perform physical exercise, as a result jeopardizing the physical and mental well-being of the city dwellers.

In hindsight, I personally feel that by following the new design, the city planners can bring myriad benefits to the city dwellers, but the pitfalls attached to it cannot be neglected as it will hamper the health of urbanites which cannot be compromised at any cost.

Media is a source for humongous information that also provides access to personal lives. Some commentators perceive this as infringement, and call for stern measures to regulate such forays, while others think differently.

There is overwhelming support for free press, even if they sometimes encroach private spaces of celebrated individuals who have gained mileage due to colossal fan-following. It is thus, the privilege of those, idolizing such personalities, to know how the latter behave behind their veil of public persona. It has been often experienced that the philanthropic facade is used by some as a pretext to gain popularity, but behind the scenes they rarely have anything to do anything with altruism.

Such endeavors, informing about private persona of known figures like sport professionals, often impact the populace favorably, inspiring them to embrace the precedents of hard work invested by some and strive to attain pinnacle. A recent story that inspired many, for example, how a young girl, hailing from a destitute family, despite all hindrances of the gender-based stereotypes, continued to focus on her studies and became the first women to graduate from an Indian village, persuaded umpteen families to follow the suit.

However, such invasion is often derided, evooking a call for stringent control on what can be made public: it has detrimental implications on those whose personal lives become public overnight, creating unwarranted pressure and irrefutable reputational damage. Some also get negatively inspired by certain material being published establishing wrong precedents for the youth if their idols are engaged in socially unacceptable behavior.

Overall, news has a massive impact on public pysche,  and thus, it is pertinent for certain controls to be applied on the information being heralded, as personal lives of others can become a benchmark: both positively and negatively.

It is being noticed that students do not study as intensively in university as they used to do in schools. What are the causes of this change? What could be done to improve the situation?

It is being increasingly noticed that young learners that, once they join college, tend to lose their interest in studies. This phenomenon stems from various factors, and needs suitable panacea to surmount this problem

In the school days, pupils find themselves facing a daunting task of excelling in their examinations, and consequently, they are predisposed to a humongous pressure from their parents and also from the faculty, forcing them to devote a majority of their time to negotiating academic obligations: learning, negotiating assignments and projects, and so on, but the moment they graduate and enroll into a varsity, they encounter a surprising circumstance where there is a complete absence of such pressure, luring them  to engage in extracurricular activities.

Another reason often fueling disinclination from academic pursuits is the freedom and a laid back environment: there is no dress code to comply with; and absence of rule of stipulated attendance. Additionally, many also start their professional courses side by side, making them forgo classes in their university .There are others opting for a break from their higher studies for a year which distracts them from studies. Furthermore, many take up part time jobs to earn some extra money for their expenses.

However, there are some practical solutions available. Universities must start the workshops to get students updated with new skills, not only this, if the institutions start offering professional courses along with academic ones, students will not need to venture outside the universities to join professional courses, reinforcing their interest in academics.

In hindsight, the detachment from academic routines at university is primarily caused by undue stress faced during, besides other more plausible reasons, nonetheless it is easy to engender inclination among university goers provided prudent policies like initiating trade-specific courses, are embraced.

Rising university fees and scarce employment prospects for graduates have led some people to say that universities should not teach arts subjects

The attitudes towards the proposal of varsities altering their curriculum, in the light of rising joblessness and cost of university education, and disseminating skills that can guarantee employment instead of topics like arts, are ambivalent, and thus, need a profound analysis.

Universities following this arrangement, would be able to engender know-how required to obtain gainful employment in the desire domains, and those graduating would not need to run from pillar to post, and pay out of the nose to gain employable skills,  post-completion of their studies. This would offer them  a much needed respite in the pressing times of the economic hardships and they would be in a position to earn money as soon as they complete university to support themselves and their families.

This can be corroborated by citing precedents of certain reputed universities in the UK, the USA, Australia and Canada that have integrated programs that churn out trade specific skills in the domains of information technology, project management, retail management, and supply chain management, to name a few, in their course list. The outcomes of this evolution have been quite favorable: graduating learners are able to obtain jobs quickly post-culmination of their pursuits.

However, those skeptical of this suggestion, despite their objections lacking in substance, feel this would cause a degradation in the quality of education being afforded by universities; these establishments are meant to foster all-round personalities imbibed with wisdom and critical thinking, allowing students to find solutions and innovate instead of delivering rote learning that only produces robots.

To conclude, disputes aside, this suggestion can be deemed as completely acceptable as correct paradigm needs inventive solutions that facilitate the future generation and allow them a comfortable life; thus, varsities should deliver programs that target occupational proficiency.

Without capital punishment (the death penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violent nature will increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Without capital punishment (the death penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violent nature will increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Death penalties have been used  since eons, but in the contemporary times, there have been proposals repealing this statute. This has fetched flak from various quarters since such a move, as per many, could jeopardize public safety.

Continuation of capital punishment is the only way, as many criminoligists perceive, that can help minimize the incidence of acts of brutality, if not completely eliminated altogether, thereby rendering a crime-free environment. It is an accepted fact that there is hardly anyone who will like to be executed, and this factor can act as a strong deterrent against antisocial elements undertaking such activities that might cause physical harm of any kind to the victims.

This can be clearly elucidated by citing the precedents  of the countries which follow an unforgiving  code in dealing with the acts of savagery, and liberally award death sentences. In such societies, incidents of violent nature are either sporadic, or a once in a blue moon phenomenon. The inhabitants of such countries lead happier lives which are not overshadowed by the evil influence of barbarism.

However, the sceptics to this policy feel that no punishment of any severity can help contain incidents that involve violent behaviour since such conduct is an outcome of the inherent animal/primal instincts that surface many times at the slightest of provocations. This lobby feels unless steps are taken to reform and rehabilitate people with the devent mindsets, to encourage them to switch to nonviolent ways, the society will have to bear the brunt of the murderous acts.

In hindsight, despite scepticism being expressed about the usefulness of the capital sentences, I strongly feel this provision should continue since when the safety of the public is in question only proven methods like death penalties can bring comfort to the people.

It is often said that to become a successful businessman a tertiary education is not at all necessary. to what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give opinion and relevant examples.

To be accomplished in business, as per the modern theorists, one needs a professional training that can inform about various aspects of running a commercial activity successfully. I completely concur with this notion and feel that one, in the modern era, needs to be well-versed with business laws and environment, to ensure triumph in a commercial endeavor.

Primary reason for undergoing professional education is that it provides one with the knowhow about the business environment and its influencing factors in the era of globalisation. Every organization is facing cut throat competition which mandates exhaustive knowledge about prevailing market trends across the globe to ensure not only survival but also progress. This can only become possible if the prospective or existing business owners obtain these inputs by pursuing a professional course. It serves as a strong foundation. For instance, knowledge imparted  about various laws of economics by the professional educational institutions  coach a person to judge the changing trends of business and capitalize on arising opportunities.

Moreover,  it is important to have the knowledge about establishing and handling the organisational structures in a business for its smooth functioning. This ability ensures that the firm is being run effectively and efficiently with minimum efforts, sparing invaluable time to focus on other more critical areas of business. To gather the knowhow about the same, a to be entrepreneur must obtain expertise in defining organizational structure and hierarchy, which can be conveniently sourced from tertiary courses. For instance, the curriculum taught at IIMs in India have proved to be a key contributor in development of many profitable start-ups.

To recapitulate, I would like to say that the success of commercial activity cannot be completely relied on innate skills alone thereby, undergoing tertiary education bolsters the chances of being successful.

The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in towns and cities closing. Do you agree or disagree?

The pace with which the people are inclining towards online shopping has sparked a profound debate, some saying that it will lead to closing of shops in towns and cities in future while others disagreeing with it. Both have apt justifications for their opinions.

The lobby favoring the view says that the way hectic schedules and long working hours are overwhelming people, it seems  in a few years from now this will hardly leave with them any time to explore streets and shops, which will prove to be a prominent factor to make people move more towards digital exploring. Moreover, making available merchandise of different regions of the world at the doorstep of buyers is forte of these portals, which is likely to appeal more and more, turning them into avid online shoppers

However,  there is little doubt that physically visiting outlets will remain a leisure for many and act as a de-stressing activity, which will always keep the charm of visiting retail outlets alive. Moreover, offline shopping is the only alternative available when one needs things in an emergency. For instance, in case of sudden headache, buying medications from a nearby shop will preferably be a better choice for timely relief. Also, many hard to convince shoppers, present in millions across the world, who buy only after thoroughly checking will remain the primary  clients of stores and showrooms. Additionally, many shopping portals do not offer cash on delivery as a mode of payment, the absence of which will make people stick to conventional methods of buying.

Overall, despite the advantages online shopping bears, the benefits offline shopping renders, cannot be overlooked, resultantly, I do not agree that the former will out do the latter and lead to closing down of shops anytime in future.

Some people think that it's a good idea to socialise with work colleagues during evenings and weekends. Other people think it's important to keep working life completely separate from social life. Discuss both views and give your opinion. write at least 250 words.

Some people think that it's a good idea to socialise with work colleagues during evenings and weekends. Other people think it's important to keep working life completely separate from social life. Discuss both views and give your opinion. write at least 250 words.

Although socializing with colleagues outside of working hours is the personal preference, some argue that this enhances camaraderie, and others emphasize on keeping boundaries between work and personal life.  In this essay, I will discuss the beneficial factors of fostering a positive work environment with socializing.

Supporters of  social mingling with coworkers believe that spending leisure time together can strengthen interpersonal relationships and foster a sense of team spirit among workers. Engaging in leisure endeavors outside of work: organizing dinners, weekend outings, recreational sports can help them to open up and experience comfort in presence of those sharing the work environment; eventually, enhancing productivity. This is the primary reason for several corporations organizing weekend outings, wherein all the staff goes on picnics or safaris.

Nevertheless, there are various proponents keen on keeping work life separate from the personal realm, emphasizing on the importance of a healthy work environment; sharing informal moments, or engaging in shop talk, despite engendering bonhomie among the staff, can lead to unwarranted circumstances by virtue of personnel sharing their personal and personnel details, the topics that often surface during arguments, and the work environment toxic. Also, sometimes, arguments during informal gatherings can dampen the workplace spirit

Similarly, such a practice tends to put the family on the backseat, leading to spouses  and wards being overlooked in an attempt to foster harmonious relations with their coworkers. It has  been seen that this arrangement is overwhelming, and many tend to face severe challenges on the familial front, often leading to marital discord and the children being ignored.

In hindsight, this arrangement can enhance workplace relationships, positively impacting professional growth, but one should strike a balance and devote some time to their kin and themselves, free of any intervention from co-workers.

It is better to teach sports to young people at school as an alternative to playing computer games at home. Why is it important? Give your opinion and examples from your own experience.

It is common belief today that youngsters should be trained in sports in formal tuition, instead of letting them play computer games at home. This opinion holds a great substance in concurrent times when young ones are addicted to virtual games.

To commence with, there is overwhelming support for this view since engaging children in sports can help fetch numerous benefits. They can learn to stay physically and mentally fit by physically exerting instead of staying glued to virtual devices, and abandoning sedentary lifestyles. This can help them circumvent a myriad diseases and ailments: diabetes and high blood pressure, and so on, increasingly inflicting indolent youngsters.  To corroborate, a study was carried out by the University of Toronto to assess the impact of playing sports in school going children: it was discovered that those participating in some kind of sporting discipline not only enjoyed a robust health but also were quite active.

On top of that, sports as an activity also cultivates essential social skills in juveniles, something they cannot otherwise gain an understanding of easily. While indulging in individual, or team disciplines, they unconsciously tend to learn to coordinate with their trainers, and coaches, in both the types, and also with their team members in the latter kind. This imparts extremely critical lessons about acceptable social behavior; and controlling temperament, bolstering fostering of sound minds and perspectives. Apart from that, they also get exposed to conditions that tutor them about maintaining their temperament and facing adverse conditions, as well as overcoming challenges.

In hindsight, it can thus be said that coaching young ones in formal tuition to indulge in sports can help reap rich yields, in terms of ensuring mental and physical wellbeing, and fostering essential personality traits.

Innovation is often driven by the pursuit of profit and economic growth. However, some argue that it should prioritize addressing social and environmental issues. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

A faction of society believes ingenuity is motivated by monetary rewards, others feel the primary aim of it should be the upheaval of society and ecology. This essay shall discuss both viewpoints to elucidate a plausible conclusion.

To begin with, proponents of environment professes that novel technologies should aim to be the cornerstone of tremendous growth of mankind as a whole: it is the advent of these marvels that can afford an easygoing lifestyle, wherein tasks requiring mammoth efforts can be achieved quickly: enhancements in construction technologies can make building skyscrapers effortless, something that nowadays accounts for decades of construction, causing wastage of natural resources and manpower, and insurmountable harm to the environment.

Additionally, incrementing productivity in the workforce should be another goal of inventive endeavors, like machines being equipped to automate recurring tasks, allowing workers dedicating resources and time to intellect-intensive undertakings, to gain dexterity and traits of multitasking, thereby enabling them to dedicate quality-time to their social commitments. Similarly, appropriate efforts should be charted for eco-centric researches for the preservation of the planet and alike conservation of its pristine natural habitats, carbon-neutral manufacturing processes to ensure perpetuation of a hospitable environment for living beings.

On the other hand, the advocates  of innovation-driven economy eulogize the umpteen venues of socioeconomic growth that have been generated for everyone - profits for businesses, employment for millions and revenues worth billions. This further benefits governments by letting them net colossal revenues and strategically positioning these activities for social transformation. According to a survey conducted in India, technological advancements added thirty hours a week of manpower, on average, in the last decade.

Overall, ground-breaking research equally benefits humanity and ecology, besides creating economic value and monetary surplus, stimulating striking a balance between both the aims to bring the best out of each novel endeavor.

In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Digital technology is becoming more advanced in concurrent times, and some anticipate that in the coming days, a majority will shift their reading habits from printed books and newspapers to the virtual platforms. The forthcoming paragraphs shall analyze this notion and share a plausible conclusion.

To start with, some believe that the way people are becoming busier in their daily routines, they are likely to embrace the soft copies instead of stepping out of their comfort zones to procure printed versions already available over the internet, and could be accessed with their single click absolutely free. Consequently, such circumstances will promote online versions of every content, and paper-based material will become a history.

Additionally, few will be keen to bear the burden of carrying heavy books of different  subjects and tedious oversized newspapers when they can read everything on their compact devices; it has been seen university students are already shifting from conventional to the electronic modes - they dread carrying tonnes of books to serve different purposes.

However, the advocates of traditional means of gaining knowledge and apprising about happening around the world are still hopeful that a  majority will remain passionate about reading the printed versions: they will continue using the conventional means as a quality pastime helping them escape the mundane surroundings created by overwhelming presence of technology in every walk of their life. Similarly, there will still be some certain areas that will be out of bounds for technology and network and one will still have to rely on these older means.

Overall, I completely concur that people will move towards the digital era, there has been a decisive shift in the habits of every individual, especially in terms of reading the content online as compared to the printed materials.

In the era of abounding pollution, there is a brewing debate surrounding the menace created by sound and its control: a faction believes tighter noise-related regulation must be deployed, while others advocate liberty. This essay shall delve deeper into both perspectives to elucidate a conclusion.

Myriads of pollution are taking a toll on quality of life, especially high decibel levels: the constant high-pitched ringing of urban settings is predisposing individuals to stressful days and restless nights, precipitating health hazards: headaches, migrain, hypertension. Regimes are cautiously aware about this jeopardy, backing up the suggestion of imposing stern guidelines to mitigating noisy surroundings, especially around certain locations: hospitals, libraries, old-age homes, to name a few.

Moreover, blaring induces a plethora of detriments to overall well being for the ones residing or working in such places: difficulties in concentrating, sleeping, communicating; even causing life-threatening ramifications in extreme cases, making the proposal of sound control laws warranted. A survey on ear inspection of construction employees revealed severe auditory complications, varying from partial hearing loss to total erosion of ear drums.

However, some vouch for a liberal framework, for any stringent act could result in hampering economic activities, bound to generate a blasting boom, such as mining, blasting, construction, music concerts, and consequently, the growth. Additionally, what may sound jarring to one might be recreational to others. For instance, the rock or heavy metal music genre is traditionally characterized by loud distorted guitars, emphatic rhythms, dense bass-and-drum sound and vigorous vocals, which might sound discordant and irritating to others.

Overall, despite a few unavoidable circumstances, noisy scenarios must be controlled and the levels should be limited as, above a certain limit, it can be counterproductive. Everyone should exercise caution or employ sound-proof measures if the intensity is beyond certain levels.

The best way to make the road transport of goods safer is to ask drivers to take a driving test each year. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Recent accidents involving goods carriers have raised concerns for safety of road users and material. To  address this, some prescribe an yearly driving examination of those operating goods vehicles, while others feel this is unnecessary. This essay shall delve deeper into both perspectives to elucidate a conclusion.

Those vouching for annual driving competency checks, often cite evaluating the professional and physical fitness of drivers; such arrangements can identify ailments and analyze dire consequences on their health. Such periodic evaluation can ensure whether the candidate appearing for the test is fit to drive heavy vehicles or not. In a way this arrangement will allow to determine the driving capacity of individuals as per their mental and physical abilities: it will create categories of driving professionals for long and short haul journeys.

Additionally, this can periodically educate commercial drivers about ever evolving transportation technologies and laws, allowing requisite authorities to identify and address deficiencies in driving skills, or knowledge, thereby mitigating the likelihood of accidents caused by driver error. Additionally, this can act as a deterrent against reckless driving behavior and promote a culture of safety and accountability within the transport industry.

However, those skeptical of this suggestion propose that it will only expose drivers to regular stress and financial burden; they will have to take time off from work and dedicate additional resources to clear these tests. This is likely to have a domino effect: the logistics companies will either have to hire extra staff or delay the deliveries, affecting their efficiency adversely and slowing down the trade.

Overall, while regular driver testing may help augment road safety to some extent, it is also likely to cause discomfort to individuals and the industry. Thus, this policy should be discreet in areas that are prone to mishaps.

Most high level jobs are done by men. Should the government encourage a certain % of these jobs to be reserved for women?

Most high level jobs are done by men. Should the government encourage a certain % of these jobs to be reserved for women?

The suggestion regarding earmarking a certain proportion of leadership posts for women invites mixed reactions. The following proposal shall be profoundly analyzed in the following paragraphs.

Many schools of thought vouch for the notion that females are equally gifted and sometimes prove to be better leaders; they have been excelling in any roles allocated to them in disparate domains - ranging from leading profit centers to prospering businesses, but their candidature is seldom considered due to the orthodox views harbored by those at the top. Embracing this arrangement will help ensure that they get their due.

Also, women do deserve equal opportunities for top jobs, as they are effective motivators. They act as beacons for their family, children and acquaintances, and have always inspired others to attempt to attain pinnacle. Thus, reserving some places needing one to take ownership, for them will help society harness this talent and derive excellent outcomes in terms of productivity at organizational level. Similarly, this would enhance diversity of talent and also offer solutions from disparate perspectives, both male and female, allowing a better mixture of energy that the former are known for, and the patient observations that latter are bestowed with.

Nevertheless, there is some skepticism regarding such settings. It is feared that this might precipitate unfair treatment to the better qualified, simply overlooked due to their gender, eventually, leading to resistance and backlash from both the genders who believe in opportunities being offered on the basis of abilities rather than sexes, causing tensions and divisions in the workplace, affecting the work environment unfavorably.

In conclusion, the scheme of  keeping some percentage of top management slots aside for women cannot be deemed acceptable by most because it will lead to gender-based conflicts, fetching chaos in return.

Some say that due to heavy traffic governments need to build more roads in metropolitan cities, while others argue this isn’t the right solution and may fail to help. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give your reasons and examples.

Some say that due to heavy traffic governments need to build more roads in metropolitan cities, while others argue this isn’t the right solution and may fail to help. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give your reasons and examples.

The debate surrounding ways to find easing congestion on urban roads is the most heated. While some suggest that the state should build more roads, claiming it would be a suitable solution, others believe it would exacerbate the problems. The forthcoming paragraphs shall look into the matter thoroughly and share a plausible conclusion.

To begin with, a lobby professes that construction of new roads and bridges would help in creating a bi-furcation between those traveling within a limited area and those traversing across cities, ultimately decreasing the density of congestion of automobiles on the current roads. This will create a time saving ecosystem as a massive amount of time is wasted in intensive road jams, different routes for different suitable vehicles will make commuting much faster and also keeps a less chaotic environment.

Similarly,  this move will help create more lanes for a variety of vehicles, rendering smooth flow at speed, resulting in a healthy driving environment. For instance, the advanced lane system in the city of Mumbai has resulted in fast traveling; motorists have reported saving at least 2 hours everyday that they used to exhaust while reaching their offices in mornings and back home in evenings.

However, some feel this proposal will only waste money as they believe less roads are not the main reason for traffic jams; the rising population is one of greatest factors affecting road traveling. To add to woes, poor public transport networks force urbanites to opt for their conveyance. Thus, any expansion of pathways will be soon clogged with more vehicles.

Overall, I believe that building new pathways is a great idea and will go a long way in mitigating the problem of traffic, providing ease of traveling to road users. Therefore, I completely agree with the idea.

These days more teenagers and young people are committing crime. What is the cause? How should they be punished for this?

These days more teenagers and young people are committing crime. What is the cause? How should they be punished for this?

Recent times are witnessing an increment in unlawful endeavors, especially by youngsters. There is a brewing discussion about its root, and the respective method to retribution. This essay shall delve deeper into both issues and draw a plausible conclusion.

To embark on this discussion, recent statistics depict a surge in criminal indulgence by juveniles and social behaviorists cite umpteen reasons for this phenomenon: the handiness of drugs, weapons, and easy money is the vicious triad often blamed for young one going ashtray, and they resort to committing crimes once they are bereft of resources; besides this it is desperation and lack of guidance that motivate many to beg, borrow and steal.

Additionally, many propound the proliferation of unemployment among youth as another basis of nefarious acts since jobs are scarce and skyrocketing prices of everything bring no benefit for them being law-abiding citizens. These jobless must fend for themselves, and to fulfill their basic needs, they prefer shortcuts. A study by the New York state Department of Justice revealed that 80 percent of jobless young people are involved in some or the other kinds of deviant ways.

Several criminologists propose a holistic approach that embraces punitive methods to penalize young perpetrators(law breakers) that are also rehabilitative in nature. As per them, young offenders should be provided with opportunities for education, skill development, and counseling during their incarceration to facilitate their reintegration into the mainstream and persuade them to lead a safe life as law-abiding citizens.

In conclusion, the upsurge in anti-social activities involving juveniles can be attributed to a combination of socioeconomic factors, lack of positive influences, and societal pressures. To effectively combat this issue, proactive measures such as early intervention programs and reformative punishment strategies are crucial.

Establishment of superstores has resulted in closure of small shops. Is it a positive or negative development?

Establishment of superstores has resulted in closure of small shops. Is it a positive or negative development?

Mushrooming megastores, where multiple types of products are available at one roof, are leading putting small outlets out of business.  This phenomenon has been eulogized as a favorable evolution, nonetheless it is hard to overlook its pitfalls.

Superstores offer unprecedented convenience, in the form of affording relief from running pillar to post to buy necessities and other goods. Consumers can access goods of multiple varieties, brands and prices, saving them humongous time and effort. Similarly, in such stores, discounts and schemes are usually available, especially during the festive season, by virtue of these organizations procuring goods in bulk directly from producers, circumventing middlemen, at much lower cost; consequently, keeping the prices down. Above all, this evolution is also engendering skilled across a cross-section of skills, thereby benefiting the society at large.

Having said that, those skeptical cite unfavorable tendencies that this switch has produced: people are becoming spendthrift and jeopardizing their financial credentials,  for they tend to fall prey to the aggressive sales promotion by supermarkets, and buy more than required, impacting their budget adversely. Sometimes, they must also buy in advance; they cannot visit these locations often. Moreover, goods cannot be purchased on credit basis, a facility readily available in small-scale stores. These factors cumulatively impact people financially.

To add to that, the sense of community is slowly waning: small shops rendered a way to interact with the neighbors. When one would go to shop at such places, they would meet their friends and also interact with them, whereas the large format stores tend to alienate visitors: everyone shopping is stranger to each other.

In hindsight, departmental stores offer colossal benefits; myriads of goods with varying prices and brands are available at a single place, and at affordable costs. Thus, this trend is favorable.
