Yes? Why

  • Doing this will help in creating a conducive learning environment for other studious pupils who will be able to focus  on their studies

  • This will save the time of teachers and speed up the the teaching process

  • A different strategy will be be applied for different set of learner

  • This will protect others from negative influence - it is undeniable bad company has a deeper impact on young minds. “ A rotten apple spoils the barrel”.

No? Why

To make schooling more effective, some suggest grouping undisciplined students separately from their studious counterparts since the former are likely to have adverse impact on the latter. This essay will analyze this suggestion and emanate a justified conclusion whether this policy should be deployed, or not.

To begin with, clubbing obstinate pupils and teaching them separately is based on the assumption that this arrangement can do wonders as it will aid in creating a productive and valuable learning environment for the disciplined ones who will be able to focus on their learning without distractions. Moreover this will help save teachers an ample amount of time and speed up the process of delivering lessons. Also, undeniably, as it is said “a rotten apple spoils the barrel”, bad company always has a detrimental impact on the disciplined lot, and has potential to inspire others to emulate such behavior.

On the other hand, despite bringing some benefits, such settings could prove to be highly unfavorable; it is likely to defeat the whole purpose of education. The primary objective of formal tuition is to transform personalities, and also help young minds distinguish between the good and bad. Applying this norm will leave troublesome pupils feeling abandoned and considering themselves as outlaws, leading to adversely impacting their mental health and attitude, and making them go astray, even persuading them to abandon continuing with schooling. Likewise,  they will miss the chance of learning about transforming themselves and altering their attitudes from their studious classmates.

To conclude, applying this strategy will fetch several pitfalls in the long run; whatever benefits this promises, are short-termed, and are likely to have enduring ramifications: schools are places to churn out polished individuals, and not denigrate them for their foibles. Thus, this proposal should be shelved.

There is a lobby that believes teaching unruly and sincere learners in a separate formal environment would be a favourable step since the former has an adverse impact on the latter while studying together. This essay will justify the rationale behind their perspective and discuss that of others.

Imparting knowledge to all learners under the same roof would be of great afford as this arrangement would extend them an opportunity to comprehend a rich profusion of personalities, prevent creating a wedge between the two categories, and help them to be prepared for dealing with diverse personas, and surmount obstacles in the future.

Furthermore, the idea of segregating learners would be an unfavourable arrangement for the tender minds of the undisciplined ones since they take back the impression of prejudice against them which would distort their conduct, consequently, engendering jealousy for others. Besides this, they will turn into antisocial and less confident adults in the life later on since they start believing that they possess some flaws, by virtue of which they are treated differently.

However, clubbing all under the same roof could spoil the class environment, mischievous acts of the noisy learners would leave a profound imprint on the psyche of the studious pupils, thereby encouraging them to imitate the actions of those with disorderly behavior. Moreover, unruly conduct of some would deviate the sincere learners from their focus owing to which they would encounter a plethora of challenges in the years to come while pursuing their ambitions.

To reiterate, I strongly feel that despite some positive aspects, the idea of rendering formal tuition by classifying disobedient pupils into separate groups is accompanied by a plethora of negative aspects since it would heighten their rebellious behaviour, distort their mindsets.
