Open areas such as gardens and parks help urbanites in numerous ways; for instance, increasing the concentration of oxygen, and mitigating pollution caused by industries and expanding population. This could help alleviate levels of harmful toxins in the air. Besides this, these locations could also afford people a chance to exercise, improving their well being as a consequence. Additionally, these also behave as recreational areas for children, affording them  space to play in and enjoy the years of their childhood, encouraging them to engage in outdoor endeavors instead of staying indoors. Apart from that, such areas could be utilized to generate revenue by building some eye-catching figures and rides, creating opportunities for leisure.

On the other hand, a few argue with the fact of having such large lands wasted, and could be utilized in a better way, by building more houses for the increasing population of the world. They term this suggestion is sheer squandering of invaluable real estate, something that is in scarcity in cities. Implementing this arrangement will send land prices shooting through the roof, making it hard for many urban dwellers to afford living and working spaces, encouraging urban sprawl as a result, and spreading pollution and ecological disasters beyond the outskirts of the already congested urban locales. 

To conclude, even though the critics have some valid concerns, large places such as parks have their benefits and are crucial for improving the quality of city life. Therefore, I concur with this proposed policy.

Contemporary times are witnessing tumult and a corresponding rise in health issues due to hectic professional schedules, construction of open lawns has become the need of the hour. Many lend their support to the above proposal. However, there are a few who register their disapproval despite their protest being grossly misplaced.

Undeniably, the prominent reason behind creating provisions for open and green spaces is bolstering public health. Nowadays, most are engaged in hectic work schedules, are working overtime, spending most of their time indoors, thereby making compromises with their mental and physical wellbeing. Therefore, having parks will provide them with an outdoor area where they can inhale the fresh air while doing exercises and remain relaxed and physically healthy.

Moreover, with the invention of the latest gadgets, most individuals are spending very less time interacting with the society in person.  Having an option to access squares might increase the possibility of socializing with their neighbors, friends and so on. Consequently, individuals will be able to appreciate the importance of social get-togethers and will make efforts to create a balance between their professional and social realms.

Nonetheless, the critics cynical to the above notion, consider it as a wasteful use of invaluable land resources. They feel that in the situation where many are paying huge amounts to purchase their own house because of lack of dwelling units, building these open spaces will exacerbate the situation since only a minority will access such locations/ facilities. Thus, developing green buffers would serve little purpose if people cannot live around them.  

To conclude, I personally feel that the benefits associated with this arrangement allows the society to overlook the grey shades of this setting as health of the citizens is a crucial element which cannot be compromised with.

With an acknowledgement of potential threat as natural calamities, town and city planners are laying more emphasis on having large open spaces. This is brewing a debate among two sections of society as some agree to this proposal while others consider it as a waste of resource.  

Having large open spaces caters innumerable benefits to the city dwellers. Such locations not only enhance the beauty of the area but it also acts as a platform for many to socialize with one another, as a result it aids people to revitalize either by being close to nature or by spending splendid moments with their near and dear ones. During heavy storms and floods these facilities absorb excessive runoff of water and perform as a natural aquifer. Thus preventing the outbreak of any waterborne hazards.

However, despite abundant outdoor spaces having amazing advantages, many think differently. According to this section of society, such facilities are a waste of resources that could be  utilized for setting up commercial buildings for promoting economy, affordable housing units to offer improved living environment, and more importantly, for establishing healthcare and educational infrastructure. Thus, massive outdoors might jeopardize the development of essential services required for wellbeing of humans and economy   

In hindsight, I personally feel that the decision of encouraging humongous outdoor places is crucial as well as critical that need to be taken after due consideration of the requirements of society at three levels; social, economic and environment.

Since a past few decades, urban sprawl has resulted in conversion of areas into concrete jungles. This has prompted a lobby of urban town planners to propose establishment of open spaces, in form of squares and parks though there are certain voices of dissent over this.

Creating open spaces would help improve the quality of life of inhabitants of urban locations by much required relief from the suffocating urban landscape dominated by built-up structures, sprawling complexes, skyscrapers, etc. Public squares with views of open skies, and garden laden with greenery also, render a relaxing environment and let the inhabitants experience a healthy distraction from hectic mundane and depressing encounters with concreted areas. This can let people forgo the need to leave cities and towns to seek solace and solitude.   

Moreover, such locations can provide opportunities for not only socializing but also entertaining to  the  otherwise overwhelmed by extremely busy and overburdened with obligations, city and town dwellers. Most are bereft of time and money to  avail facilities offered by more formal settings of clubs, that charge exorbitant amounts. People can simply go to these locations and meeting others at their convenience without needing to pay anything.

However, some critics voice their doubts over such a proposal. They term it as a misuse of land resources in the times when urban locations are facing a deep scarcity of usable land. Taking such a step would only cause an unprecedented increment in the prices. Thus, making it harder for many to afford dwelling units, or offices. This would only fuel urban spread, as they fear.

In conclusion, even though the issue of creating open has descended into senseless squabble. I feel that gardens and public squares can help rejuvenate distressed inhabitants, as well as the city scape.
