In the contemporary times, a major thrust for development is being experienced in almost every sphere of life, be it farming, industry, and infrastructure, which is making it mandatory to bring more and more land under human occupation, resulting in deforestation. If steps to preserve forests and wild beings are not taken in earnest, wild areas and their inhabitants will become part of history and encyclopedias.

In the contemporary era, the conservation and protection of flora and fauna have become a need of the hour since they have started becoming endangered. This essay shall discuss the challenges faced by the wild species and propose the remedies to this pressing global issue.

Nowadays, due to the intrusion of numerous human activities, a wide array of flora and fauna are on the verge of extinction.
