In recent years, a growing number of youngsters have begun emulating lifestyles, attitudes, and behaviours of well-known figures from sports and the film industry. This social phenomenon carries both benefits and drawbacks, depending largely on how these public personalities are interpreted and followed.

On the effulgent  side, noted public figures can serve as a formidable source of motivation. Many young athletes look up to Cristiano Ronaldo not only for his exceptional talent but also for his discipline, perseverance, and strong work ethic. When young people attempt to mirror such qualities—by training consistently, setting clear goals, and maintaining healthy habits, they often develop resilience and self-confidence. As per study carried out by eminent human behaviorists, observing professional sports personalities encourages school goers to adopt a structured exercise routine during their formative years, helping them improve their physical strength and mental focus, and  set goals and strive for excellence.

However, in some cases, such a propensity can prove to be detrimental: some young individuals concentrate mainly on outward appearances, luxurious  lifestyles, or dramatic behaviour frequently portrayed in films. The entertainment industry often presents an unrealistic image of success and happiness, which can lead to distorted expectations. There have been examples, wherein the youth have been coaxed into spending excessive amounts of money on fashionable clothes and expensive gadgets in an attempt to ape famous actors. As a result, they are often observed facing financial pressure and emotional stress.

In conclusion, disputes aside,  barring sporadic instances where the upcoming generation tends to go astray while mimicking their idols and lose their sense of direction, most tend to draw inspiration for improvement in their persona and habits, and attempt to achieve benchmarks established by popular figures.
