Some people believe that hospitals should spend more money on new medical technology, while others argue that those funds should be allocated to doctors and nurses. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

A  profound debate is raging among varied sections that investment in medical care must be prioritized on state-of-the-art equipment and methods, while others do not subscribe to this notion and advocate prioritizing health professionals. I will critically discuss both the views in the following paragraphs and share the plausible conclusion.

To begin with, the modern school of thought professes that allocation of money should be on improving technology in the medical industry. This can stimulate embracing new research, precipitating introduction of modern tools, operational aspects, changing the infrastructure for enhancing the standard of care. This will help speed up accurate diagnosis and assist in rendering precise medical interventions such as surgeries.   For instance, a survey by the USA medical department revealed that several developing  countries, like India, have got technology implemented in their hospitals, by virtue of which it has become possible to cure even the critical illnesses, and people do not move to other countries to subscribe to suitable treatment.

Nevertheless, others assert that allocation of funds must be attributed towards doctors, nurses, and other staff, as they are the ones who are responsible for extending treatments and curbing the problems. They sacrifice their own life on the sake of their patients without any expectations. They are compared with the god for saving lives. Moreover, they spend most of their time gaining medical knowledge and compromise a lot; also, they need to keep updating themselves. Hence, acknowledging them by infusing resources to upgrade their knowhow and compensation: this will aid in raising their spirits and also deepen their dedication.
To recapitulate, I feel that both the domains are pillars of healthcare set-up and must be allocated an equal significance, so as to derive optimum efficiency from medical care services, and ensure a  healthy society.
