Many people believe that interviews are the most effective way to select suitable job candidates. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Yes

  • This method can help assess the overall personality of the candidate due to its spontaneous nature

  • Inexpensive but effective method since help assess soft, as well as hard skills

No

  • It is not easy to evaluate the overall picture in a shot window and candidates might mislead

  • Some people despite having talent and skills, have a tendency to become nervous

  • Engaging in practical assessment, team work

As per a common belief interviewing job aspirants enjoy supremacy over other ways of assessing the eligibility of prospective candidates, but some challenge this notion and suggest that other techniques must be used to enhance the effectiveness of this system.

Inviting  prospective personnel for a face-to-face, or online, meeting to screen their suitability has had a proven track record. This system has been used for long to shortlist appropriate workers at all organizational levels- from semi-skilled workshop helpers to highly accomplished CEOs- by virtue of it being spontaneous that renders it an ability to gauge soft and hard skills of the interviewees. For instance, as per the Linkedin report of 2025, ninety percent of employers in all industries and segments believe in conducting interviews since these can quickly provide requisite information about academic and professional qualifications, something even detailed resumes tend to miss out.

Similarly, this procedure enjoys popularity among organizations; it offers economy, in terms of time and money. Employment givers can circumvent lengthy exercise of examining applicants through costly cumbersome written tests. To exemplify, almost every airline across the world uses this method to even hire pilots because it helps make the required skills available at a short notice.

However, some eminent HR experts propose that despite being efficient, this technique many times tends to fails to delve deeper into the personal and professional persona of probable employee, and thus, it must be supplemented by psychometric tests, and technical assessments, to help ascertaining that applicants are worthy of being a part of the company.

To encapsulate, interviews have endured the test of time owing to their reliability in testing acumen instantly, economically, and speedily, nonetheless some more modern techniques should be integrated with these to augment/ boost veracity/accuracy to discover the required talent.

A majority deems interviews as the best method to evaluate job aspirants, while others cite various shortcomings in this procedure and prescribe additional measures. This essay shall delve deeper into both the perspectives and and share a justified conclusion.

Sapna:

There is an ongoing debate about whether interviews are the best way to select candidates, while some accept this, others believe that employers should also add other necessary filtration to this process. This essay will discuss both the perspectives and draw a justified conclusion.

Introduction 1:

Interviewing job aspirants is the traditional method of evaluating whether they perfectly fit into the designated job profile or not. I feel that even though this process has a great utility, its accuracy in shortlisting the right candidate can be enhanced by making it more versatile.

Introduction 2:

Traditionally, interviewing job aspirants has acted as an essential way of selecting them, but does  it enjoy supremacy over other methods, is a matter that needs a critical analysis. In my view, although it is quite a dependable/ reliable  process, its effectiveness can be enhanced by adding more evaluative techniques to it.

Many jobs at around the house are done manually, but could have been done by machines instead. What are the advantages or disadvantages of this? Give your opinion and include relevant examples.

In the epoch dominated by automation, there are still some who negotiate errands at home by hand, instead of relying on modern appliances. While this tendency is laden with numerous pros, it is hard to disregard the associated cons.

Activities  carried out with human efforts ensure multiple advantages: low-intensity exercise, reduction in expense, and power saving, to name a few. One of the major benefits is the physical strength it imparts, making daunting tasks easier. An individual can perform physical exertion and metabolize calories without needing to seek refuge in the gym. To corroborate, research has shown that those undertaking their daily work at home tend to be healthier and fitter as compared to their counterparts relying on machines.

Furthermore, this helps save money as no appliance needs to be bought, and it also alleviates power consumption, thereby mitigating power bills. Undeniably,  state-of-the-art devices like microwave ovens, dishwashers, and vacuum cleaners, among others, cost several arms and legs, require expensive maintenance, and also consume excessive electricity, but circumventing their use can help save monetary resources.

However, this propensity can make life monotonous, because of long working hours at home and no social life. One may be tired and may not want to work, but it is their necessity to complete tasks. In addition, working professionals face paucity of time, needed for daily household chores, because of exhausting work schedules. Many urbanites often complain of being tied down to tasks like dishwashingcooking, cleaning house and gardens, even on weekends.

To conclude, even though this propensity has several benefits to offer: ensuring physical activity and money savings, there are some darker sides to this such as costing one some precious moments. I feel that one must use technology prudently to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Many believe that household chores should be done manually, while others suggest that modern appliances can make challenging tasks, more convenient. Both, merits and demerits, will be discussed before deriving a plausible conclusion.

Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

A great discourse of contemporary times revolves around whether university goers should be given leverage to take up the subjects of their interests or varsities should enlighten them with profession oriented subjects like science and technology that would afford benefits in future. In this essay I shall discuss both views and share my opinion.

A lobby profoundly corroborates with the former notion by stating that rendering liberty in choosing the subjects will create passion towards studies consequently scoring good in university exams and indeed outstanding performance in jobs, as nowadays science and IT does not hold entire working sector but one can make a successful career in literature, arts, accounts and so on. On the other hand, compelling youngsters to devote their time only on subjects related to science or technology will kill their creativity, as a result they might end up with not only poor grades but also may not show compassion in the future endeavors in any field.

However, dissenters assert that youngsters get influenced easily with whatever fascinates them and with such a perplexed state of mind freedom to decide the subjects would be a regret. The universities and parents should take responsibility to make them learn what can afford them highly paid jobs . They strengthen it by mentioning that, lately the virtual world is a new trend and has a long way to go, thus knowledge of programming will always render a secure job with appealing salaries. One may not be interested in computers during college times but with future aspects such subjects assure stability.

Overall, I vehemently believe that giving a fair chance to students to express their liking for a subject would not do any harm but elders and universities should take the final decision on it.

Old people take a while to begin using new technology, such as mobile phones. Why do you think this is happening? Suggest ways to encourage them to use mobile phones and new technology for their benefit.

The advent of sophisticated devices has left senior citizens, the most vulnerable section, striving hard to take advantage of these. The following paragraph will discuss reasons attributing to this and elucidate panacea to surmount this challenge.

Some believe that elderly people are more comfortable with operating older equipment that runs on manual commands; is small in size and easier to access; and can be handled as per their convenience, but the modern ones are faster in operations and have complex functions, making it hard for the aged to familiarize with these. Moreover, by virtue of their failing health: slow reflexes, failing memory, weakening eyesight, and so on does not allow them to learn about using modern apparatus, thereby making them averse to concurrent technologies.

Additionally, they are recalcitrant about embracing the change as they ponder that they might become a butt of jokes if they commit any mistake, keeping them away from embracing contemporary gadgets. Furthermore, as they tend to forget things frequently, young members feel irritated, resulting in the latter becoming uncooperative with the former; creating a huge gap between newer applications and them.

Nevertheless, despite the presence of umpteen obstacles, a lobby sees a ray of hope, and suggests embracing certain prudent steps: manufacturers should introduce certain features to help the aging become friendly with the appliances by adding voice message buttons, incorporating manuals in audio form. Also, family members must enlighten them about the  advantages of updating them with the recent developments and encourage them to engross themselves in activities like watching movies, listening to music, and so on.

Overall, I vehemently confirm that appropriate guidance should be afforded to those in their golden years to overcome barriers, so that they can enjoy the amenities availed by every one.

Some people say that animals can be used in any way for the benefit of humans. Others say that exploiting animals for human purposes is not acceptable. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Some people say that animals can be used in any way for the benefit of humans. Others say that exploiting animals for human purposes is not acceptable. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is justified to use animals for satisfying human requirements:  *why?

  1.

  2. This relationship is also justified on the rationale of animals being a medium that has allowed humans  progress; carry out their jobs; and ensure their lives. This reference is often quoted also from various scriptures

It is unjust to use them for human purposes: why?

  1. Inflicting pain, or confinement to small areas, is inhuman: all beings appeared on this planet by the wonder of nature and humans do not have the right to destroy something for their own selfish motives.

The biggest and most controversial debate of the contemporary times revolves around the issue of whether it is justified for mankind to use animals to fulfill its objectives in various spheres, or not. This has fetched mixed responses from the partisan groups sparring over this issue.

The opinion that extends the right of making use of animals to serve human objectives is based on the age old association, which has existed since time unknown. Humans and these being have enjoyed companionship in one, or the other form, but it has been reciprocal too: where, if human society has used these creatures for transportation for moving people and goods; rendering food items, like diary products and meat; for guarding their homes and businesses; and also as pets, they have also paid back appropriately by providing the latter with food, saving them from starving, and shelter, protecting them from predators.

Moreover, the support for this view also comes from the scriptures and  orthodox beliefs, which profess that humans are the owners of this planet and every other being has existed to be used as an asset. This makes their claim about using the power and resources generated  by animals rightful and valid, as they profess.

However, a lobby of animal activists treat this attitude with indignation. Noone gave mankind a right to cause pain and misery to the poor creatures: both man and the animal are cohabitants and thus reserve the right to lead their life, the way they want, without causing disturbance and annoyance to each other.

Overall, I feel although human beings the most intelligent of creations of nature, do enjoy the privilege of using animals to serve their objectives, they must ensure that they do not cause harm to helpless and hapless creatures.

In some countries children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

In some countries children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

Benefits

  • This fuels never say die attitude: it fosters perseverance (unswerving resolve) and ability to  keep working despite adversities
  • * This persuades them to approach any goal with enthusiasm,  which in turn lets  the creativity come to the fore
  • This also inculcates confidence among the young ones
  • They will seldom procrastinate they stay more focussed on their goals
  • This is good for society: this will promote a generation that relies on their efforts rather than their destiny

Drawbacks

  • This can become an obsession, even after realizing that some things are unattainable, youngsters start investing into their endeavors mindlessly> they function like someone who is possessed and becomes stubborn, unprepared to listen to anyone.
  • This can also encourage young ones to establish unrealistic goals, which are too high for their resources: stress, due to making impractical commitments> this can have severe implications for the mental and physical well being
  • In many cases when they fail to make a mark, youngsters can suffer from mental afflictions

Worldover, young ones are advised that ceaseless striving can aid in surmounting uphill tasks. Many feel that passing such information has many benefits  while others  refute this notion by professing that  this is laden with drawbacks.

This positive  entrenchment lays a plinth which brings out ample of enriching qualities in an individual. This aids fostering the traits  like perseverance, an unswerving determination which encourages them to attempt overcoming any kind of adversity or to face any gauntlet. For example, Japanese parents tend to hardwire this learning in their wards in their formative years, which helps foster appropriate behavior needed to face and counter adversities.

Further, this allows them to be more creative and sharpen their innate skills, analysing and constructing the suitable  strategies. Such a young populace develops confidence and has enthusiasm  to pursue their goals. Besides this, it assists the community greatly as the young generation  is adequately prepared to encounter hardships with  their efforts  rather than being dependent  on their destiny .
Having said that, there is a critical assessment of such education, it  can pose many impediments as there is a fine line between  firm resolve and eccentricity and this may turn many  stubborn, reluctant and unprepared to listen. Moreover, some act as if they are possessed and keep on moving on a path mindlessly, without even appreciating their aptitude. Such a scenario may lead to stress and many other mental afflictions as youngsters may pursue such aims that are beyond  their resources, resulting in only  unprecedented sufferings.

In hindsight , it is true that toil paves the way to a successful  life. However,   it is of paramount  importance  that the viability of aims should be considered  before persuading young minds, so as to prevent them from acting robotically and embracing wild goose chase.

An increasing number of professionals such as doctors and teachers are leaving their own poorer countries to work in developed countries. What are the problems associated with and some possible solutions?

Nowadays, many working professionals such as teachers and doctors, to name a few, are moving abroad leaving their underdeveloped countries behind which is creating challenges for their countries. This essay shall highlight the problems related and draw some plausible solutions.

One of the major problems with this trend is that this can precipitate a severe shortage of skilled manpower and hamper local economy; if a majority of young professionals leave their countries no one will be left behind to work, leading their economy to suffer. On top of that, the cost of services related to such professions will rise stupendously, making them unaffordable. For instance, many moving to Canada are required to take up programs and certifications that are highly expensive in order to get a job in their field. Furthermore, it halts innovation as brain drain tends to take away the cream, leaving limited minds to the job making it slower for the countries to develop.

Having said that, many suggest that this issue can be fixed by establishing better infrastructure that supports employment generation industries and sectors; this will raise the possibility for research and development. Moreover, governments should espouse prudent policies  that support better working conditions, and engage professionals better, encouraging them to stay.

Additionally, raising salaries and incentives, and other monetary benefits can also act as a stimulant to stem exodus of skilled labor, for financial considerations are primary drivers of this phenomenon. To corroborate, a survey conducted by NYU revealed that, in 2019, almost 40 percent of teachers moved to the USA because they were offered better compensation.

To conclude, when individuals leave their country of origin for skilled work, it creates several challenges. In order to prevent them, regimes can provide them with better earning and infrastructural support.

Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets and there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets and there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, a majority feels that movies can be viewed on hand-held devices, whereas many oppose this notion and think old fashioned way: cinemas are irreplaceable. This essay shall critically scrutinize this matter and draw a plausible conclusion.

Many suggest that by virtue of the advancement in technology people can watch films on their mobile devices, without setting a foot outside of their homes, with the help of the internet. The new releases are immediately made  available on the OTT platforms, and other streaming websites,  making it accessible all the time; one can watch it during their lunch breaks, or right before going to bed; they also can easily pause, rewind, and stop a movie at their convenience, with no time constraints like a fixed showtime. Moreover, this method is cheaper and renders access to a vast collection than watching a film in the hall; they have to pay nominally to the websites like Netflix and Amazon Prime, to name a few, and yet watch anything.

Nevertheless, the other school of thought professes that movies can only be enjoyed when watched in a movie theater. They feel it affords an immersive experience; large and expansive screens surrounded with sound systems that makes one feel like being a part of the action that is difficult to replicate elsewhere. Moreover, visiting a theater renders relaxed  viewing, wherein the audience can sit in an air-conditioned environment, and engross themselves in the content without any distractions.

To conclude, I feel even though watching movies on mobile phones and tablets is more convenient and pocket friendly, people should go out to watch a movie as it offers unparalleled pleasure, something that cannot be duplicated on a small screen.

In some countries, more and more people are hiring a personal fitness trainer, rather than playing sports or doing exercise classes. What are the reasons for this? Is this a positive or a negative development?

In some countries, more and more people are hiring a personal fitness trainer, rather than playing sports or doing exercise classes. What are the reasons for this? Is this a positive or a negative development?

In recent times, many are becoming inclined to subscribe to personalized fitness sessions. This stems for several reasons, and needs a critical scrutiny of whether it is a favorable or an unfavorable evolution.

To embark upon the discussion, this tendency can be attributed to several causes: many are not quite disciplined; they tend to skip workout either due to work, or simply because of procrastination, and hence, require someone to guide them in individual sessions. Similarly, some desire for customized diet charts and be monitored strictly to prevent them from going astray. Additionally, with the rise in disposable incomes, it has become easier to afford such services so that a faster progress towards fitness goals can be registered; higher purchasing power has enabled individuals to part with a portion of their savings in order to stay fit and healthy.

Employing a personalised trainer yields to be a favourable outcome for both - the trainer and the trainee. Where on the one hand, it offers advantages in terms of tailored guidance and support during workouts: one enjoys the benefit of receiving focussed clarifications on exercises, or addressing any challenges facing them, without distractions, besides motivation and approval, thereby enhancing the overall training experience. On the other hand, it has led to the emergence of a specialist field that is proving lucrative for youngsters to follow healthy regimes themselves, earn sky high,  and persuade others to follow the precedents and engage in physical activities.

In the end, I concur that this is an overall beneficial shift, as it offers flexibility, precipitating  greater consistency and reduces stress, ultimately leading to higher productivity within a short span of time, and those imparting training are benefiting financially, turning this domain into a self-sustaining realm.

Young people committing crimes should be treated the same as adults by the authorities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Young people committing crimes should be treated the same as adults by the authorities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays,  unlawful acts involving juveniles are witnessing a spike; however, these perpetrators walk scott free unlike the grown up. This has persuaded a proposal that they should be awarded similar penalties like their older counterparts, whereas many dissent. I shall critically scrutinise this matter, and draw a plausible conclusion.

A school of thought professes that an infringement should be penalized uniformly, regardless of the age, for this can send a clear message to all the youngsters, preventing them potentially from engaging in criminal/antisocial  activities. Similarly, in cases of violent  illegal acts, such as murder, or assault, the severity should be the  primary criteria and not the  age of the offender. To corroborate, a study by the University College of Dublin, revealed that felonies undertaken by those under eighteen have surged due to lack of sufficient law, so a universal system of punishments has been proposed in Ireland to help quell such incidents. Moreover,  holding them accountable will promote fairness, and also prevent youngsters from being used as a tool to commit unlawful acts.

Nevertheless, the critics throw up their arms in horror, and suggest that youngsters should not be subjected to such punitive measures. Their brains are still developing, limiting their ability to make correct decisions. Since they lack maturity, they might be unable to handle the trauma, eventually affecting  their mental health drastically, exposing them to issues like depression and anxiety, and instead encouraging them to indulge in dangerous unlawful endeavors

To conclude, disputes aside, I think that instances of law breaking should be meted out similar treatment to all antisocial elements, regardless of their age; youngsters partaking in offences should not be spared. It might sound cruel, but mitigating incidence of law breaking by minors is only possible with such severe steps.

Some people believe that family is more important than friends. Do you agree and disagree?

There has been a controversy on the significance of family over friends. Many believe that family holds more importance than friends, whereas, others oppose this notion. This essay shall critically scrutinise this matter and draw a plausible solution.

To embark upon the discussion, family plays an essential role in the life of every individual. They render mental and emotional strength,  and support each other during the ups and downs. Besides this, no matter how bad the conflict is, they stay with their loved ones and solve the issues with love and affection. For instance, when one faces financial challenges, their loved ones help them arrange money instantly. Furthermore, parents work hard and sacrifice their dreams for their wards; they would spend each penny for the betterment of their child without thinking twice.

Nevertheless, the other school of thought professes that friends are like partners in crime, and have a more significant role to play than familial ones. They indulge in activities that one cannot do with their families like going on adventurous trips. On top of that, they can trust and share things with their peers which they cannot share with anyone else: individuals can exchange conversations about the people they are dating with their peers without apprehension. Additionally, they have the tendency of changing the habits of their fellow peers; they take up each other’s habits to lead a better life.

To conclude, I feel, even though friendships are extremely important when one cannot share stuff with their families, mothers and fathers are exceptionally essential as friends might leave but they would stay through thick and thin when one is in trouble.

It is generally accepted that families are not as close as they used to be. Give some reasons why this change has happened and suggest how families could be brought closer together. Include any relevant examples from your experience.
You should write at least 250 words.

In the modern era, many families are increasingly drifting apart. This can be ascribed to several reasons. This essay shall critically scrutinise the attributes of this predicament and  suggest some plausible solutions.

To embark upon the discussion, family dynamics have dramatically altered leading to people not staying in touch more often. They are engrossed with work; the work load has increased drastically, leaving them with little time to spend with families. Moreover, technology has become so advanced that they hardly find it necessary to engage with their loved ones; they stay connected with them on social media, and derive updates from each other, not feeling a need to be with them. A majority can seen interacting with the kin purely on social media platforms like Whatsapp despite residing with close vicinity of each other in a city, convincing them that face-to-face meeting are non-essential, and consequently, weakening the emotional links inadvertently

Having said that, many suggest that this problem can be fixed provided one takes out time from work and spends some moments with their families: striking  a balance between work and  life can render a relief and opportunity to build the broken bridges. Additionally, even though technology allows easy and convenient interaction, efforts should be made to meet each other regularly, and plan outings like picnics, or indulging  in adventurous activities,  and during that tenure disconnecting from technology. For instance, the government of Italy has opened up cafes where mobile phones and gadgets are prohibited, making it essential for visitors to connect with their friends.

To conclude, while the work load has incremented tremendously, and technology has progressed rapidly, causing widening gaps between  relations, it is mandatory to strive to reestablish bonds, and this can be done by active participation with loved ones.

Some people believe that in the future, most cities will become unlivable due to pollution and overcrowding. Others think technological innovation will solve these problems.
Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

A school of thought professes that many urban areas will become inhospitable owing to these becoming polluted and overpopulated. Others, on the flip side, believe that innovations will help surmount these issues. This essay shall critically scrutinise this matter and draw a plausible conclusion.

Many express legitimate concerns towards the humongous rise in the level of air, water and noise pollution in the cities, in the not so-distant future. The rising influx into metropolitans from rural regions for job opportunities, and better lifestyles, leading to a dramatic increment in housing shortages, traffic on the roads and overburdening of public services, thereby exacerbating the pollution. Not only that, vehicle emissions and industrial activities have grown and degraded the air quality, leading to soaring incidence of respiratory disorders: asthma and pneumonia, to name a few. For instance, in cities like Delhi and Beijing, the number of fatalities due to smog in the air has  surged in the last one year.

On the other hand, there is widespread optimism about technological advancement helping overcome these challenges, by virtue of a breakthrough in renewable energy just round the corner; the use of solar panels and better nuclear powers promise a clean future. For example, many car companies are shifting to electric vehicles so air contamination and carbon emission are anticipated to decline. On top of that, the new building techniques, involving prioritizing vertical orientation, represented by skyscrapers,  promise rendering accommodation to rapidly expanding urban populace, and the number of businesses, and still preserving the environment by preventing further denuding of green buffers.

To conclude, disputes aside, even though cities are getting swamped, and polluted day by day, I align myself with the view that technology can help in improving the future and  fix these problems.

Adults always say that life was better in their childhood and school days than it is now. Why do they say so?
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is often said that childhood is the best time of life and adulthood brings a plethora of challenges as compared to that. There have been a lot of reasons behind that saying. Although this fact has a flip side too with different aspects.

Before all else, a majority of grown-ups emphasize life as a child being the best days: as youngsters, they only had to study, play and rest, whereas as grown-ups they are always overwhelmed with responsibilities. Apart from that, there was no place for stress, jealousy or competition, and making friends was an effortless undertaking.

Also, even if one made a mistake, they always got the benefit of being considered as a chance to learn from failures. Likewise, being surrounded by elders gave a sense of assurance for their safety and all their responsibilities and demands were taken care of by their parents. No matter whether an adult gets appreciation or not, as a child even little things brought ample applause.

However, even though being a juvenile offers umpteen benefits, the rewards of being a grown-up are unmatched: by virtue of attaining maturity, one becomes capable of handling any situation without needing any external intervention. Similarly, despite facing restrictions and obligations, they can simply follow their aspirations and make any decision related to their lives. Above all, something even teenagers crave for, is a right to vote and such a privilege allows an individual to contribute in the decision making of their nation as well.

To recapitulate, I feel although childhood days are undoubtedly the most enjoyable days due to that phase rendering carefree life, adulthood is the time when one gets to harness the opportunities to attain their desired goals, and also have a say in society.

In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.

In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.

Affluent societies have been witnessing an although commendable  phenomenon, which have also become a source of unease, people are living longer, well into their advanced age. This could have serious implications not only for people but also for you

The direct calamity of such an evolution are the individuals themselves as they are expected to survive longer, there is a great probability that in their autumn they might not enjoy a quality life, by virtue of retiring from their work and becoming exposed to financial constraints, and been inflicted by disease and ailments that catch up with the age. Consequently, they might have to spend their twilight years being dependent on others, making things traumatic for them.

On top of that, society also remains unaffected by such an evolution, and will have to bear the burden of supporting the elderly populace both financially and morally, in the form of providing old age grants, retirement homes, and medical rehabilitation support. This will impose humongous pressure on taxpayers, the only source of public money.

Moving to remedies, even though these problems cannot be comprehensively eliminated, mitigation is surely possible. The governments should either raise the retirement age and let the aged workers engage in non physical work, or should draw a plan to engage senior citizens in some kind of community work and compensate them with stipend so that the latter do not only stay occupied but also confident.

To cap it all, even though developments and science have yielded rich dividends in the form of prolonged life span, they have also brought along certain hidden adverse effects which could make life miserable for the elderly and impose over the society. Therefore, governments should intervene and take prudent steps.

Giving lectures in auditoriums to large numbers of students is an old way of teaching. With the technology available today there is no justification of it, and everything should be done online. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion.

Giving lectures in auditoriums to large numbers of students is an old way of teaching. With the technology available today there is no justification of it, and everything should be done online. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give your opinion.

Presently, a lot of information and important details worldwide are received by virtue of journalists. Many profess that these are fabricated write ups and should  not be relied upon;  however, others  assert that these noble professionals have many qualities and  should definitely  be trusted.

Some perceive that , although sporadic, there  are some cases, which have raised questions on the sanctity of this profession. Correspondents are being persuaded by the commercial compulsions: viewership or readership ratings. Additionally, they are being rewarded by the elite for manipulating the content in their favour. Also, they are driven by the majority  of opinion in order to prevent derision or indignation by their fraternity. Another contributing  factor is the   influence of corruption  which  is political  correctness of the statements which they present.

Notwithstanding the former notion, there is a lobby  which advocates that barring a few, most  reporters are devoted to their endeavors, they travel places risking themselves and life of their family members, and rarely let any kind of inducements  interfere with their professional tasks and render their services with great determination.

There are a plethora  of qualities which these dedicated noble professionals  carry. They are not prejudiced, and are  impartial and do not form opinion on  their findings. Apart from being non judgemental, they are empathetic  towards society and  avoid reporting which averts social discord. Furthermore, they have a clear thought process, great communication skills ;are fluent in carrying out investigations of the background  of subjects they are reporting.

In hindsight, reporters have  a critical role to play  in society today, they risk their lives to gather information, and are always on their toes to  afford masses with genuine inputs, regardless of the criticism they might have to face. Indeed, they are  doing  justice to their jobs.

In some countries, a high proportion of criminal acts are committed by teenagers. Why has this happened? What can be done to deal with this?

Incidence of lawbreaking by teens is witnessing an astronomical surge due to the lack of education and guidance. This essay will discuss the attributes of this complication in detail and the preventive measures which can be taken.

The rising incidence of unlawful undertakings perpetrated by teen-aged individuals is propelled by the belief that this is an easy source of income and there are myriads of people misguiding them; they are uneducated and do not have the right knowledge about things. It is observed that many adolescents partaking in unlawful endeavors were impoverished and illiterate. Consequently, to overcome their miserable condition, they indulge themselves in illegal activities. For instance, the latter belonging from a low-income group indulge themselves in unauthorized activities like robbery, murder etc. in order to meet their end needs.

Moreover, parental negligence can also have a huge impact on those in their teens. Moreover, since friends have a great influence on the character: acceptable or unacceptable; therefore, an unfavorable influence can affect the behavior of such growing minds. To exemplify, as per New York Police Department, most shoplifting instances involving trends stem out of peer pressure and an intent to be a part of the group.

Policy makers can play a great role in surmounting the issue by making stringent laws such that people do not get involved in unethical behavior. Further, since education is paramount in every society, it is extremely important to educate young people about right and wrong things. Moreover, parents and friends can also counsel tender minds to prevent them from going astray.

To recapitulate, it is the utmost duty of parents to keep a vigil on their wards and explain to them the criminal activities and its consequences. Also, governments should take necessary steps to control  anti-social acts.

Some people believe that individuals who earn a lot of money are the most successful. Others say that the individuals who contribute to the society (such as scientists or teachers) are the most successful. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Some people believe that individuals who earn a lot of money are the most successful. Others say that the individuals who contribute to the society (such as scientists or teachers) are the most successful. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

The general perception that many carry about  attainments are gauged by the amount of wealth one has amassed, and the luxury that they enjoy. However, there are contrasting views  with the former opinion that real success is measured by the contribution made to pay back to society.

To embark upon the discussion there are a plethora of reasons that support the fact that prosperous people are  successful, as with  their  wealth they can own mansions, swanky cars, afford foreign destinations for holidays and  various  such other  comforts which many may aspire to possess in their life.

Furthermore, they can plan their future and make best investments and  afford an easy life to their wards Thus, securing their and the future of their children. They do not have to struggle as the have-nots, but can buy whatever they aspire for; thus,  fulfilling all their dreams   which can be  definitely termed as success.

Having said that, there are contrasting  viewpoints, as many believe that basking in luxury or amassing wealth for oneself is transient success, instead invigorating significant changes  and efforts for  making life of others easier, paying back to the society in their own way is the success in true  sense and spirit. For instance, individuals such as Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, and so forth,  may not be earning astronomically, but they establish an enduring legacy of praisable work, fetching them an unswerving following, and affection  of people, and thus fame, which outstrips wealth by miles.

To cap it all, undoubtedly this is a debatable issue and there is polarisation of beliefs. However, I perceive that the ability to be influenced by positive work  and  earning possessions in abundance both are indeed the indicators of achievements.
