Some people argue that governments should focus on domestic matters, while others believe that addressing global issues is more important. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There is a fierce demand echoing the power corridors to focus on internal affairs, while some stress the need to raise the stakes in and at international issues. This essay shall critically analyse both viewpoints and draw a justified conclusion.

To start with, it is often argued that the governments have a primary duty to address domestic issues: citizens expect economic stability, healthcare, education, and law and order from those elected to represent them. Since the overall well-being of the population can be severely affected when these basic needs are not met, many believe that policy makers should invest their energy into resolving internal issues before looking outward.

However, some believe that worldwide problems require urgent and collective action from policymakers, challenges; climate change, pandemic, terrorism, and international conflicts, and so forth; transcend national boundaries and can have widespread ramifications. For instance, the recent global health crisis followed by the COVID pandemic demonstrated that international cooperation is indispensable and long-term stability can only be ensured if nations support and collaborate with each other, making it imperative to render precedence of transnational issues.

Moreover, a strong focussed foreign policy is beneficial to the development of a country. Engagements with neighbours and other leaders strengthen global trade, diplomatic partnerships, intelligence sharing, all of which boost internal and external credibility and domestic stability. For instance, rising oil prices can profoundly impact the domestic environment, for it can lead to inflationary tendencies, which can only be controlled through bi-lateral and multilateral trade agreements that attempt maneuvering through the volatile fossil fuel market.

In hindsight, although focusing on domestic matters is essential for national prosperity, lawmakers should also play a significant role in tackling global issues for both are intricately entwined, complementing each other in a highly globalised concurrent era.

Politicians are more responsible for the protection of the environment than individuals. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

A faction of society propounds that lawmakers should don the mantle of safeguarding the ecology, while others vehemently disregard burdening them, and assert this onus should be on everyone. This essay shall critically examine both perspectives and draw a justified conclusion.

There is a growing opinion that public representatives hold the panacea for a plethora of environmental issues as they are responsible for governing regulatory bodies and authorities, and hold the power of creating and amending rules and laws, related to address this pressing concern. Changes in rules is seen as a collective measure seeking the end of environment-related infringements, since everyone will follow it without reluctance by virtue of fearing repercussions, in the form of penalties and  imprisonment.

Additionally, policymakers can allocate resources and invest in infrastructure that bolsters sustainability: funding public road transport, developing waste disposal and recycling facilities, and encouraging green technologies. These initiatives pave a path for citizens engendering eco-friendly initiatives and reducing adverse impacts down the line. Since the inception of BEST, Mumbai public bus service; 40% of traffic congestion and 20% of Mumbai pollution has been mitigated; saving one billion tonnes of CO2 emissions alone in this city, according to a study conducted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

On the contrary, individuals also have a role to play in ecological protection: daily habits such as minimizing  plastic use, conserving energy, recycling, and sustainable sourcing can considerably alleviate emissions and collectively contribute to this noble cause. It can go a long way in resolving the environmental imbroglio since they are the source of all this evil.

Overall, although individuals contribute to the daunting task of safeguarding the planet  through their routine actions, the state is more responsible because they have the power to implement large-scale policies and instill lasting change.

What are the reasons for this development?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of having more than one job?

In modern times, a myriad of individuals are seen juggling between multiple jobs simultaneously. This shift can be attributed to various economic and personal factors. This essay will explore the key causes of this development and evaluate the potential benefits and drawbacks of maintaining more than one job.

To start with, the reason behind this trend is that contemporary expenses for housing, education, health, and lifestyle have increased significantly, taking additional jobs to earn extra income, and monetary stability

This propensity has numerous benefits to offer: one can earn more money, and save for future goals or emergencies. Moreover, this kind of phenomena also contributes to individuals enhancing diverse skills, making them more versatile and employable. Furthermore, many think of it as a backup option - meaning reduce the fear of job loss; personal satisfaction: it has been seen, second jobs always involve hobbies or passions, which gives them a sense of fulfillment.

Nevertheless, this practice could have detrimental effects: managing several jobs can increase workload and pressure, often leading to fatigue, mental stress, and reduced productivity, or even hampering work-life balance, affecting family time, hobbies, and social life. To corroborate this view, a recent survey was conducted by the labor department in the United States, professing that around 30 percent of people indulge in various industries face numerous health issues, and are unable to render moral and emotional support to their loved ones.

In conclusion, while holding two or more positions can offer financial rewards, and self-development, it may also cause imbalance, and medical concerns. Therefore, people should carefully plan and ensure their workload is manageable before taking on supplementary jobs.

In the digital era, retaining personally identifiable data has become central to modern services, ranging from online shopping to digital healthcare. While there are clear benefits associated with this practice, it also raises serious concerns about privacy and security. This essay shall examine whether this is more rewarding or jeopardizing.

To start with, one key advantage of holding personal information is improved efficiency, and personalization of services. Companies can analyze user data to offer tailored recommendations, faster customer support, and smoother digital experiences. For instance, online shopping platforms suggest products based on previous searches and purchases, which saves time and improves user satisfaction. Similarly, banks and financial apps monitor transaction patterns to detect fraud, protecting customers from financial loss. In healthcare, digital records allow doctors to access patient history instantly, leading to quicker diagnosis and better treatment. These examples show how responsible data usage can significantly enhance convenience and safety.

Nevertheless, despite these benefits, storing personal data also carries major risks. Data breaches and cyberattacks can expose sensitive information such as identity details or financial records. For example, several global social media platforms have experienced data leaks where millions of users' private details were compromised. Such incidents can lead to identity theft, financial fraud, and emotional distress. Moreover, excessive data collection reduces personal privacy, as individuals are often unaware of how their information is shared or sold. This lack of transparency creates mistrust and gives corporations disproportionate control over users’ personal lives.

In conclusion, storing personal information provides clear advantages in terms of convenience, personalization, and security. However, these benefits outweigh the disadvantages only when strict data protection laws, and ethical practices are enforced. Without proper safeguards, the risks to privacy and individual rights become too significant to ignore.

Today news channels and newspapers make use of pictures to support their reports. Some hold the view that pictures cannot be relied upon, while others feel that the importance of accompanying photographs cannot be ignored. Discuss and give your opinion in not less than 250 words

Proliferation of multimedia usage is causing  a profound shift in  reporting; reliance on photographs is seen in negative light, while a section  considers inclusion of this means as crucial for mass-media broadcasting. This essay shall critically examine these views and draw a plausible conclusion.

Proponents cite umpteen benefits of attaching photos with news reports: it allows readers to extract underlying information, for as they can visually correlate and comprehend the circumstances in which an event occurred. Additionally, authenticity of reports is established when news is complemented with related videos and images. To corroborate this, a survey carried out by The Times of India demonstrated that publications containing graphics witness acknowledgement from the audience as comprehensive and informative.

However, critics of this practice hold a negative view of such practice and vehemently oppose using any distraction while news reporting as it misleads users: in some extreme cases, paint a picture which at times is exaggerated. For instance, an article published by a prominent journalist misquoting the make and model of an accident-ridden aircraft led to a swatches of doctored images and AI-generated videos claiming origination of this report, leading to major criticism of the aircraft manufacturer and eroding millions in stock prices and invaluable trust of consumers.

Additionally, avid newspaper readers blame the overuse and abuse of snapshots as a tool to artificially increase the number of pages; through this, agencies can charge exorbitant prices per publication, dodging the main objective. This phenomenon furthered the degrading quality of journalism as it serves none but the advertisers.

Overall, although reports laden with images helps one to grasp the context, it should not be seen as a critical requirement of news as it can be counterproductive in certain  cases and unnecessarily occupy space and attention.

Multicultural societies bring more benefits to the country than drawbacks. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Multicultural societies bring more benefits to the country than drawbacks. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is generally professed that living in an environment populated by diverse ethnicities can be more rewarding than being challenging, while others vehemently counter this. This essay shall critically analyse both perspectives and draw a plausible conclusion.

Undeniably, sharing space with those hailing from diverse backgrounds, engenders a pulsating social environment introducing one to a wide range of traditions, cuisines, languages, thereby fostering a dynamic and vibrant cohort; instilling awareness and tolerance; and mutual respect among citizens through harmonious cultural exchanges, broadening their horizons.

Additionally, such surroundings boast of a synergy of distinct economic skills: technical, entrepreneurial, social, and artistic, which substantiate economic and intellectual gains, while cross-cultural collaboration enhances creativity in sectors such as technology, business, and commerce. A diverse workforce brings varied perspectives and skills which drives innovation and productivity; to corroborate this, the majority of USA household growth is attributed to a rich conflation of skills brought in by disparate ethnic groups hailing from different regions of the world, some earning as high as $100k, a survey conducted by the UNO.

However, critics of multiculturalism contend that cultural diversity can lead to social fragmentation and communication barriers. Even though such occurrences are sporadic, variations in language, religion, and customs might  sometimes result in misunderstandings or a lack of social cohesion. In extreme cases, this can give rise to conflict or division within communities. For instance, newly arrived immigrants may struggle to assimilate, which might  create challenges for both the hosts and the newcomers.

Overall, although cultural diversity may present certain challenges related to cultural integration and social harmony, multicultural societies offer far greater benefits: they enrich cultural life, stimulate economic growth, and promote a more open and progressive society, making them an invaluable asset in the modern world.

Although it is generally illegal, physical punishment continues in many countries. Some argue that parents should have the right to punish their children in this way. Do you agree or disagree?

A school of thought considers parents physically punishing their wards fair and just, while others vehemently oppose this approach since this can have long-term ramifications on the young psyche. I failed to concur with the former notion as it does little good.

To begin with, parents often resort to corporal punishment, but it often contributes to low self-esteem, anxiety, and aggressive behaviour later in life. When tender minds associate discipline with pain and fear, they learn to obey rules under the threat rather than developing genuine self-interest. Thus, far from teaching responsibility, this practice reinforces emotional harm, preventing them from exhibiting their views openly. Numerous studies conducted by reputable institutions, such as the American Psychology Association, concluded in their decade-long study that fear-based approach does not build characters; it merely suppresses behaviour temporarily, and increases the chances by tenfold of youngsters growing up with trauma, unable to express themselves clearly.

Additionally, what is described as “unnecessary evil” can easily escalate into serious abuse; children cannot defend themselves, giving this authority creates a room for normalising the violence in households, especially when caregivers are upset or overwhelmed, causing bodily and mental harm, and in extreme cases can promote rebellious behaviour due to which, many times, youngsters grow up as individuals seeking revenge on others. A study conducted by the WHO concludes a direct correlation of good parenting with a high human development index, while a majority of violent adults admitted being subjected to use of physical form of retributions during their childhood.

Overall, although some defend an absolute iron hand, the harm clearly outweighs any perceived benefits. When safer and constructive methods of discipline exist, rendering physical punishment is harmful, outdated and replaceable with healthier strategies, therefore worthy of outlawing.

Some believe that modern technology is increasing the gap between rich and poor people, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Some believe that modern technology is increasing the gap between rich and poor people, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

The impact of modern technology on society is widely debated. Some argue that technological advancement has widened the gap between the elite and the impoverished, while others believe it is helping to bridge this divide by creating new opportunities. This essay will discuss both aspects, and share a well-reasoned conclusion.

Some fear that technology is causing social imbalance because access to it is disproportionate despite this notion being misplaced. Where the wealthy  can easily afford better education, advanced tools, and faster internet, allowing them to draw greater benefit from technological progress, the destitute do not have access to such privileges, and thus, are likely to trail, and  eventually fall behind. Similarly, there is a growing worry that new introductions will soon replace low-skilled jobs in manufacturing and services, potentially, leaving less-educated workers unemployed, thereby pushing them into abject poverty.

However,  the former notion can be easily debunked; barring a few regions and population sectors, many have been able to gain education in their desired field by using the facilities like the internet. They now  can access courses and courseware without needing to pay out of their nose: they can join online courses hosted by various universities and online platforms, while remaining in their hometowns. For example, many hailing from less privileged backgrounds admit learning  new skills through free or low-cost online courses on platforms like Youtube, telegram and many online skill apps. In addition,  someone in a rural area can now study the same subjects as students in major cities without needing expensive institutions.

In conclusion, technology is ensuring equitable distribution of resources among people belonging to disparate socioeconomic classes instead of increasing it. By improving access to education, jobs, markets, and financial services, state-of-the-art devices and methods have created opportunities for all.

In some countries, it is illegal for employers to reject the people  applying for jobs because of his/her age.  Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

In many parts of the world, businesses are forbidden from turning down job applications because of the age criteria. While this may fetch some benefits, it is likely to be detrimental at large; it will expose companies to numerous complications and hamper their productivity.

A school of thought has welcomed this move, for it believes that now the elderly and the freshers will not have to struggle to make their ends meet, and become vulnerable to mental trauma, or partake in criminal activities, respectively, owing to financial hardships they might have to face due to lack of job. Moreover, this could save policy makers humongous money, otherwise spent on affording pensions and unemployment support, besides healthcare facilities.

Nevertheless, the impediments this policy poses are far more profound than the rewards it promises; the organizations will be robbed of the leverage of shortlisting appropriate candidates as per the occupational requirements. This could jeopardize the operations, expose the workforce to hazardous situations, and eventually, unfavorably impact the profitability because the workers hired may lack necessary experience, or mental and physical endurance to negotiate the tasks appropriately.

Similarly, this is likely to result in companies bearing the burden of extending healthcare support, especially to the freshly hired aged personnel, to ensure that they do not fall sick due to work pressure. It will certainly result in extra unnecessary expenditure, thereby shrinking profits. To corroborate, undeniably, a majority of health support spending in various commercial organizations are allocated to aging employees.

In hindsight, while anti-age discrimination norms may yield some advantages, their application is likely to undermine functional and financial viability of enterprises. Therefore, their adoption is a disadvantageous introduction, and thus, they should not be made universal, but based on typical industry requirements sans physical hazards.

Some people believe that educating children at home provides more benefits than sending them to school. Do the advantages of home-schooling outweigh the disadvantages?

Some people believe that educating children at home provides more benefits than sending them to school. Do the advantages of home-schooling outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent times, many perceive that home tutoring for youngsters is more beneficial than attending formal tuition. The upcoming paragraphs will analyse this notion critically and conclude whether merits of this arrangement outstrip drawbacks.

Home-schooling  is considered superior by some  as young minds tends to feel safer and more comfortable in their home surroundings,  instead of conventional settings, which helps to enhance focus and understand the topics delivered more effectively because they can ask for clarification of their doubts from their tutors without fear or being judged by others. Moreover they can take their time and also request for repeating the lessons For instance, as  per a report published by the New York Times juveniles studying at home have experienced  75 percent improvement in their learning abilities.

Similarly, this system is more affordable, and parents can use the money saved to invest for ensuring a better future for their wards as they can make big savings, otherwise spent in paying for fee, uniform and other overheads. Likewise, youngsters can garner  practical skills including life skills, moral values, and practical knowledge alongside academics.

However, the disadvantages of receiving schooling at home are more profound and can affect the academic and social development of young individuals. Children  may not receive guidance from professionally-trained teachers. Moreover, many households do not possess advanced educational tools and facilities that schools can provide, such as laboratories, libraries, and modern technology. Furthermore, children studying at home may have less opportunities to socialise with others, which can negatively affect their communication skills and emotional development.

To conclude, the system of schooling at home may offer some comforts, save money, improve concentration but this can deprive learners of accessing up-to-date educational tools, and learning about socialising. Thus, this is more detrimental than reward

Many old buildings protected by law are part of a nation’s history. Some people think they should be knocked down and replaced by news ones. How important is it to maintain old buildings? Should history stand in the way of progress?

Nowadays,  various historical edifices are safeguarded by law: they are considered a critical legacy. However, some believe that these should be replaced by modern constructions, for they present impediments in the way of progress. This essay will critically examine the significance of preserving historical monuments and deliver a well-reasoned conclusion.

It is considered very important to preserve heritage sites as they carry a great nostalgic value, and help to create a link between the past and present. Likewise, these provide a medium to make the younger generation aware of the achievements of their ancestors, which will help to increase their knowledge of history and feel motivated to perpetuate their values.

Similarly, these sites assist the countries to attract tourists, helping boost the tourism industry. For instance, the government of Malta has maintained their old forts and churches, and promoted them as tourist locations. resulting in a 70 percent increase in the  total tourism revenues, and also creating employment in this industry.

However, history plays a vital role in the development and economy of a country; nevertheless, old buildings need huge investments for maintenance and refurbishment, something that poses a huge burden on taxpayers. Likewise, sometimes, it becomes nearly impossible to find similar materials used while constructing the monuments.

Moreover, many of these edifices are unsafe and despite regular maintenance, remain vulnerable to collapse, which can lead to accidents. For instance, in Indonesia, parts of old town halls have deteriorated over time due to weathering and lack of proper conservation, posing risks to both visitors and the monuments themselves.

To conclude, protecting historical sites is extremely essential; they preserve cultural heritage, educate future generations, and contribute significantly to tourism, but maintaining every building can be expensive and challenging thus only the most relevant should be preserved.

In many countries, coffee chains are expanding rapidly, which some claim threatens the survival of small local cafés. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is a noticeable trend in expansion of coffee chains in various countries around the globe, while some lobbyists believe that this growth is jeopardizing the survival of local cafes. This essay will critically analyze this perspective and deliver a well-reasoned conclusion.

Many well-established coffee chains are increasing rapidly due to their effective pricing strategies. They maintain standardized prices across all their outlets. Likewise, they offer frequent discounts and special deals, particularly through specific bank cards. For instance, popular coffee chains like Starbucks provide discounts and special offers on payments made through certain bankcards, luring more customers and helping their business grow quickly. Consequently, they are snatching business from local brands.

Moreover, these chains offer higher customer satisfaction as compared to local ones, through additional services: free wifi, complementary cookies on birthdays, and so on. Additionally, they provide a better ambience, which leads to greater customer retention. For example, many students in Vancouver prefer studying in Tim Hortons due to its comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi access, and relaxing environment. Consequently, this encourages longer visits and repeat customers, supporting expansion of such chains and closure of small businesses.

However, cafes having regional presence cannot disappear as they have their own unique characteristics like authentic  local tastes and personalized experience, which large chains often fail to replicate. Additionally, small cafes can survive because they have lower operational costs and can easily change their menu and prices. This flexibility helps them to compete with big rivals.

To conclude, although the rapid expansion of coffee chains offer several merits such as standardized pricing and enhanced customer experience, it does not necessarily pose a serious threat to local cafes, because the latter  continue to attract customers through their unique authentic tastes and flexibility

Some people think the government should subsidise fruits and vegetables to make healthy food more affordable. Others argue that the government should tax unhealthy food instead.Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In contemporary times, there is a growing debate on the topic of whether the state should contribute fruits and vegetables to promote a healthier lifestyle, while some lobbyists believe that edible goods that threaten health should be levied extra charges to make them unpopular.

Subsidizing fruits and vegetables can persuade citizens to opt for healthier options as they will purchase healthier food due to its  affordability. It will even help the impoverished to buy healthier food. For instance, in Fiji, introduction of subsidised healthier food options led to a significant rise in their consumption. People from lower-income households reported feeling more energised and less dependent on junk food, showing how price adjustment can drive healthier lifestyle changes.

Similarly, reducing prices will promote healthier food habits and prevent disease. By doing this, the government can save financial resources typically spent on providing medical care. Additionally, this policy can stimulate the healthy local produce sans preservatives. By making fruits and vegetables more affordable, small farmers will get more business, which will strengthen the rural economy.

On the face of it, some people argue that the state should tax unhealthy food instead, as this would discourage consumption and reduce spending on these items, especially among younger generations. They will  have less money to spend on such goods; consequently, they will shift to safer options. Likewise, this will force the manufacturers to reformulate their products, using healthier ingredients, as they would need to adapt to changing consumer demands and avoid additional tax burden.

In conclusion, while subsidizing healthy food can improve access and affordability, taxing unhealthy food offers a complementary approach such as leading consumers toward healthier choice and promoting healthier production practices. Ultimately, a balanced strategy might be a most effective solution.

Nowadays some governments encourage industrial factories and businesses to move out of large cities. Is it a positive or negative development? Discuss and give your opinion.

In contemporary times, there has been an ongoing debate about relocating industrial factories and businesses out of large cities. While this trend offers several merits, it also has some notable demerits. This essay will discuss both the positive and negative aspects before presenting my own opinion.

One of the benefits of this policy is that it is helping in reducing congestion in urban areas. This lack of commercial activities will mean fewer people crowding public places and roads will have lesser traffic. Furthermore, it can also help to reduce environmental pollution caused by these factories and business establishments. For instance, in 2010, many industries in Delhi were reallocated to the outskirts to reduce pollution, and it helped to improve air quality dramatically.

This can also assist in economic growth in new areas, as relocating industries can create jobs and boost the local businesses in the less developed regions, promoting a balanced economic development by creating employment in the areas which are generally underdeveloped, such as jobs in construction and raw material supply.

However, there are various downsides to this shift. Relocating generally requires high costs, which can affect the owners of the factories and businesses. In addition, it may lead to unemployment in the metropolitan areas, as a large number of skilled individuals work in these places, and if their workplace is shifted, they may not want to shift causing them to lose their jobs, and posing challenges in locating appropriately qualified workforce, pushing them to losses and, forcing them to close.

In conclusion, while relocating industries and commercial entities may benefit urban surroundings by medicating environmental problems, and also creating jobs for unskilled and semi-skilled workers, complications will be far more, it will have economic ramifications. Thus this is an unfavorable evolution.

The government should control the amount of violence in films and on television in order to decrease the violent crimes in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Of late, the impact of violent content in films and television has become a matter of concern, which has prompted a suggestion that such content must be effectively regulated to help stem unlawful endeavors. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument and deliver a well reasoned conclusion.

Many individuals believe that exposure to violent content can lead to aggressive behaviour and policy makers should take controllable measures; young people may imitate aggressive actions they watch on films and repeated exposure can normalise violence. For instance, many schools have reported that students attempt to recreate fight scenes they watch   on television, which results in serious injuries.

Similarly, constant exposure to films, ads or operas portraying brutality, makes people less sensitive to sufferings, resulting in reducing empathy and increasing tolerance of crime. To corroborate, a report published by WHO suggests a correlation between violent media and people becoming apathetic and considering illegal ways as a general behavioral approach. In addition, some films and shows portray criminals as heroes, showing violent tendencies as exciting and a rewarding activity.

On the flip side, some believe that films and media do not play any role in pushing the audience towards criminal activities as everyone is quite rational and can differentiate between fiction and reality. They argue  that criminal actions are the result of personal choice, not just influence. Likewise, many claim that TV and cinema appeared in the 20th century while unlawful activities have existed ever since humans existed on this planet. Therefore blaming modern media is not justified.

In conclusion, despite different opinions, I believe that the government should regulate violent content in films and television, as it can significantly influence behaviour. Implementing measures such as age restrictions and broadcast limitations can help reduce the negative impact.

Damage to the environment is an inevitable consequence of worldwide improvements in the standard of living. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Damage to the environment is an inevitable consequence of worldwide improvements in the standard of living. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

A prominent section of environmentalists suggest that strivings for registering progress has precipitated unavoidable destruction of the ecology. The following paragraphs shall critically analyse this notion, and elucidate and justify disagreement with this perspective.

An  army of people connected with environmental initiatives fear that attempts to log unprecedented progress has predisposed nature to reckless and indiscriminate exploitation, and irreversible harm. For example, rampant deforestation is still being carried out to create space for farming-to grow  food; factories for producing goods; residential, commercial and institutional facilities, to accommodate growing/expanding population, businesses, shops and hospitals, among others, thereby destroying numerous natural habitats.

Similarly, emissions from factories, automobiles, besides the residual trash being dumped and discharged into all three spheres of the environment: land, water and air, are turning the Earth inhospitable, incapable of supporting life. To corroborate, global warming is speeding up, affecting the flora and fauna, and distorting their behaviour. Moreover, the marine environment is being impacted by high carbon content, plastic, and so forth, jeopardizing aquatic life.

Nevertheless, despite the concerns being expressed being justified, a turn around is being brought by innovative and sophisticated tools in methods that will change the fortunes of the planet. Vertical cities and farming are being aggressively promoted, and fortunately gaining acceptance, which will allow rewilding. Additionally, governments are committed to make greener fuels and recycling, the mainstay of activities carried out in industrial, commercial and household sectors. These factors cumulatively will ensure delinking development from the environment, and promise a sustainable future for inhabitants and surroundings.

In hindsight, while the concerns raised about the planet becoming vulnerable to rapid deterioration are justified, the scenario has been rapidly transforming due to the advent of up-to-date technologies that will ensure mitigation of environmental complications and allow advancement autonomously.

Nowadays people are spending too much money to celebrate personal and family events such as weddings, birthdays and so on. Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Give your opinion and examples.

It is commonly perceived that, today, spendings on personal and family events have surged phenomenally. I agree with the notion: I feel that many are using even the small occasions to help strengthen relationships and create memories.

One of the reasons fueling this trend is the fact that in concurrent times most live in nuclear families and all relatives live far from each other, which makes it difficult for them to meet regularly. Therefore, they usually organise huge events, to help relatives and friends to congregate, and enjoy together. This may result in higher expenditure, as hosts feel the need to arrange elaborate events, but it helps create nostalgic memories.

Similarly, the influence of social media platforms: Instagram and Facebook, persuades many to spend substantially on events just to showcase their celebrations in a grand and appealing way: organizing events at luxury venues, using expensive decorations, and  sporting designer outfits, among others, just to impress others. For instance, many weddings include pre-wedding shoots and many other unnecessary events, and it is commonly admitted that this behavior is driven by social media influencers.

Another significant factor is the growing tendency to emulate the elite. Many families aspire to replicate the lifestyle showcased by public figures, believing that grand celebrations reflect success and social prestige. They tend to emulate them and celebrate like them. Consequently, they often lavish money on weddings and parties. Moreover, companies in the event management and fashion industries constantly promote the idea that bigger celebrations are better, pushing even middle-income families to overspend to host opulent events.

In conclusion, celebrations have always been deemed essential for strengthening relationships, and the growing tendency to spend excessively is largely driven by the intent to create lasting memories, and also respond to social pressure and expectations.

Nowadays many young people deliberately damage public places. What are the causes and solutions?

Nowadays many young people deliberately damage public places. What are the causes and solutions?

In recent years, many young people have been involved in vandalism of public properties, often due to lack of civic awareness and peer pressure. This essay will examine the main causes of this issue and will propose possible solutions to control.

One of the main reasons persuading youngsters to deface communal assets is the lack of civic awareness, as they usually fail to recognise the value of public infrastructure and end up destroying it. Likewise, peer pressure also plays a significant role, as many often engage in such behaviour to gain attention and acceptance among their social circles. In addition, inadequate parental supervision is another reason, as few are appropriately guided toward socially responsible behaviour.

Similarly, another key factor is weak laws; lenient provisions for punishment for such acts, fail to deter individuals from engaging in harming public assets. For instance, in London, if a young individual is caught damaging public infrastructure, he or she may only receive a warning and be let off. Moreover, absence of counseling for anger management is also leading the young generation to vent their frustration through engaging in this kind of activity.

To mitigate this issue, several measures can be implemented. Stricter laws and penalties should be enforced to dissuade such behavior. For instance, in Lithuania, those caught engaging in such endeavors are restricted from availing  scholarships and are required to perform community service for at at least one month. In addition, educational institutes should engender enlightenment about civic responsibilities among juveniles to raise awareness about the significance of public property.

In hindsight, taking everything into account, while vandalism is a complex issue driven by a range of underlying factors, it can be effectively reduced through enforcement of stricter regulations and promotion of greater awareness.

In the modern era, news plays a major role in spreading information, but some believe that trusting journalists is not possible, while others dissent. This essay will discuss both views and highlight essential qualities that news reporters are expected to demonstrate.

There are valid reasons for people doubting  reporters. In some cases, media houses prioritize viewership and profit over accuracy, leading to distorted reporting. Additionally, some news professionals may be driven by political, or corporate interests, resulting in biased reporting. The rise of misinformation, especially in the digital era, has  further damaged the credibility of journalism, making it difficult for the general public to distinguish between factual and misleading news.

However, these allegations are not true in a majority of cases, for several newsmen and women have been complying with the tenets of ethical reporting, wherein they tend to delve deeper into any event and investigate exhaustively before presenting news to the general populace, and never compromise with their principles. This can be clearly evidenced by constant job switching by reputed correspondents who are shown the door by the media owners for not surrendering to their whims.

An ideal journalist should be akin to being closely connected to the fundamentals of this strategically sensitive profession to uphold credibility: accountability for their work and willingness to correct their mistakes. For instance, while reporting during Covid, pandemic  2020, many renowned newspersons from the New York Times, admitting citing unsolicited numbers of deaths due to infection, issued not only apologies but also republished the whole report.

In my opinion, although there are legitimate concerns about the trustworthiness of newspersons, most remain committed to the principles such as accuracy, honesty, accountability and integrity, except a few non-adhering professionals falling prey to temptation of fame and fortune.

Many people think that the government should spend money to explore life in the outer space, while others think that it’s a waste of public money. Discuss both views and include your own opinion and examples.

Many people think that the government should spend money to explore life in the outer space, while others think that it’s a waste of public money. Discuss both views and include your own opinion and examples.

Many people argue investments into space research should continue, while others consider it to be wasteful spending. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my perspective.

On one hand, investing in space exploration can help in advancing many technologies, such as weather forecasting systems, navigation tools and satellite communications. Furthermore, it can allow discovering resources like minerals that could be brought back to the earth and used by mankind. For example, heavenly bodies like the Moon are explored to discover essential minerals and materials like water and metals, to name a few, for this could be used back home.  Similarly, this could also help locate other habitable zones in the universe that could be settled by the populace, in case something goes wrong on the Earth due to nuclear war and environmental degradation. For example, Mars exploration is going on to find whether life can exist beyond Earth.

On the other hand, opponents contend that allocation of a vast sum of public money is difficult to justify as there are already preexisting socio-economic problems such as poverty, lack of healthcare facilities, infrastructure development, education, and so forth, which  demand immediate attention .Critics believe that instead of spending in space it is better to invest in improving standard of living and reduce inequality. Excessive government spending on space exploration may further deprive the already vulnerable communities of essential resources, exacerbating complications. For instance, instead of spending on space exploration, policy makers should invest into infrastructure, better educational institutions and healthcare facilities, which would directly benefit citizens.

In my view, although space exploration is very important for science and even technology advancement, it should not overshadow existing societal challenges. The state should follow a balanced approach between infusing funds into space programs and meeting public demands.

Some people believe that university education should be free for everyone. Others think students should pay for their own education. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Some people believe that university education should be free for everyone. Others think students should pay for their own education. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Many argue that universities must extend courses without charging any fee, while others think otherwise. This essay will critically examine both perspectives before presenting a well-reasoned conclusion.

Free university education can enhance college enrolment, thereby increasing the chances of promoting innovation, and churning out expertise to take society forward. Furthermore, it can strengthen the economy by creating a highly skilled workforce, capable of working in various strategic sectors of the economy. For instance, in Latvia, free university education has encouraged a growing number to pursue higher studies, resulting in greater participation in research and technological development. This has resulted in learners becoming inventive in critical fields such as artificial intelligence,  which has led this nation to strengthen its plan for the knowledge-based economy

Similarly, this policy could make higher education more accessible to all, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds, and thus, help reduce the gap between the rich and the poor, and also allow the deprived to harness their latent talent, benefitting society at large, in terms of ensuring distribution of equitable opportunities to all. Moreover, those hailing from middle and lower income groups will not have to worry about subscribing to expensive educational loans

Nevertheless, many believe that university goers should be accountable for paying their tuition fees; it will assist them in understanding the value of education, persuading them to be more consistent, and stay focussed on their studies. Additionally, this will also help in saving public money because only devoted learners will enroll in university courses.

To conclude, while charging tuition fees may help students realize the value of education and ease the financial burden on governments, free university education is a better approach; it  will ensure equal access to higher studies and help create a skilled workforce, benefiting the entire nation.

Most people spend a major part of their adult life at work, in which case job satisfaction is an important element of individual well being. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers? Discuss and give your views. Write at least 250 words.

Most spend exponentially long hours tied to their work cubicles, making it imperative to ensure that they remain content with their work. Ensuring this hinges on numerous aspects and  can profoundly impact the wellness of workers. However, some challenge this and feel this term cannot be quantified.

The most important factor contributing to contentment with employment is monetary benefits. These help one to lead a joyful life by allowing them to fulfill their essential needs like food, clothes, gym memberships, and so forth. Similarly,  the working environment also plays a very crucial  role in this state of mind. Positive atmosphere, work culture, management support, and cooperative colleagues help personnel to stay motivated while engaging in their tasks.

Another key factor is opportunities for career growth and skill development; this helps draw a sense of achievement, and thus, contentment. In addition, work-life balance also contributes a lot as this helps individuals have a balance between work and personal life, without bearing excessive stress, and sustaining their mental and physical wellness. Apart from that, having job security affords peace of mind and helps improve overall well-being, and thus, happiness.

Nevertheless, those skeptical of this term call it amorphous, which can rarely be attained. As people have different expectations and interests, jobs that are satisfying for some may not appeal to others. Likewise, some may prioritize monetary benefits over job security or work life balance. Additionally, the nature of certain jobs is dangerous or physically exhausting, making satisfaction difficult.

To conclude, favorable working conditions and adequate financial rewards significantly strengthen  the sense of  job satisfaction, and despite some doubting the relevance of this concept, it holds a great substance and can help an organization accomplish its objectives due to greater and healthier participation of its workforce.

Some people say it is important to keep your home and your workplace tidy, with everything organised and in the current place. What is your opinion about this?

An overwhelming majority stresses on the importance of neat arrangement at the workplace, and in dwelling spheres. I lend my support to this notion, and this essay shall delve deeper into matter and justify my view.

To commence with, uncluttered surroundings have always inspired innovation, as organized arrangement positively influences humans to immerse themselves into novel and inventive ideas. To illustrate, renowned artists are obsessed with cleaning their tools and workbenches, since well-kept tools and spotless surfaces motivate them to perfect the craft. Maintaining tidiness highlights professional attitude and screams perfection.

Additionally, maintaining order at professional and living places circumvent efforts invested into finding key objects when required, mitigating delays and helping prevent the chaos of sifting through cluttered spaces. It is usually observed, professionals planning their day begin with organizing their desks, and their colleagues readily assume them to be more productive and, often, better leaders. For example, world over, ones keeping their workstations are found to be quite efficient and quick to act since their efforts are not lost in trying to sift through documents, belongings and data, even their databases loudly talk of this trait of theirs.

However, this task of repetitive upkeep is viewed as unnecessary and a source of distraction because not every spot can afford to remain flawless all the time, and is bound to get dirty at some point. This also takes away crucial working hours out of professional commitments and can be viewed as escapism, thereby diminishing the upsides thereof.

In hindsight, the advantages of maintaining order and cleanliness within the professional and personal spheres ameliorates disarray and promotes creativity, productivity, and highlights the sense of professionalism, and the ones finding themselves in disorderly surroundings are rarely able to organize their work and considered inefficient.
