A common perception that schools/institutions are for making children responsible towards society rather than focusing on their personal growth, evokes mixed responses, while some support this, others reject it. The following paragraphs shall profoundly delve into this matter and share a logical conclusion.

To start with, a lobby opines that the only motive of the educational institutions is to make juveniles responsible only for society. Schools have curriculums that include moral education, which teach students about the basic moral values of a civilized person in society such as helping people, the concept of sharing is caring and giving back to society. Apart from this, it is considered that when wards go to schools, they meet other classmates, they start learning with them which directly instills the sense of belongingness in them. They pick up many good habits, which ultimately help them in becoming good human beings. For example, an interview was conducted with youngsters, wherein some situational based questions were asked, shockingly eighty five percent of people’s answers revealed that schools are the foundation for making them civilized in society.

Nevertheless, other lobby profess that schools also play an  important role in grooming individual personalities as they prepare them for their upcoming life by making them participate in cultural activities and sports, speaking and performing on stage, which help in making them self-confident and fearless. Moreover, nowadays schools are also offering personality development classes, wherein they provide tailored classes as per the requirement of each individual.

To sum up, I opine that indeed, children always learn basic etiquettes from schools such as teamwork, helping others, and so on, but do not forget they also help them in grooming individually when it comes to their skills, completions.
