Some people think that hobbies should be linked with technology, while others believe that it is not necessary for hobbies to be involved with technology. Discuss, what is your opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your experience.
There is a profound debate raging across varied sections of society whether technology should penetrate the domain of pastime endeavors. Some subscribe to this notion, while others dissent. I will elucidate both the aspects in the following paragraphs and share my opinion about it.
To start with, several commentators profess that modern tools should be used in practicing leisure as it can save resources like money and time, especially those facing paucity of both the resources, wasted in learning something new. To exemplify, one can enlighten themselves about their passion: cooking, music, and so on, by using internet-based platforms such as YouTube without parting with a dime, or traveling to grasp the knowledge. Moreover, the raw material or other things can be purchased sitting at home only by browsing online portals. To corroborate, several sculpture enthusiasts, primarily youngsters, can now source modeling clay through popular eportals Strike CLay and Designer Clay, selling such material, and other tools to fulfill their desires of practicing passion of making statues and idols.
On the flip side, critics vehemently profess that free time haunts are meant to be practiced in leisure time, and should be kept away from technology; every sphere of life is already overwhelmed and surrounded by technology, and such endeavors should be meant to earn oneself a healthy distraction of engaging with modern machines and techniques. Moreover, this is likely to kill the spirit of adventure and enjoyment afforded by free time undertakings, making one bereft of opportunities to earn a sense of fulfillment and discovering something new.
To conclude, disputes aside, I opine that involving technology in hobbies is not a bad option at all because it is making things easier for those passionate about following their passion, but lack time and money to do so.
