Some people say that a person’s success depends on his/her upbringing by parents. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your opinion and examples from your own experience.
The public discourse of the modern times is aligned with whether the rearing received at home overwhelmingly influences attainments in life, or not. I will analyze this matter profoundly, and deliver a justified conclusion.
Some state that success depends on the nurturing received from mothers and fathers; because they are the one, who spend most time with little ones, or deliver positive lessons of life. For instance, when young minds are trained by their families to work hard to achieve in life, they usually follow it throughout their life, and tend to remain devoted to their goals despite debacles. Several successful professionals and businessmen admit that the traits about consistently striving for objectives, and disregarding setbacks, hardwired into them by their parents, helped them stay motivated, and go on.
However, others outrightly quash the former view, and suggest that parents only guide or look after youngsters, but teachers are the ones who guide juveniles to a successful life, for they are well-trained in delivering lessons in different ways, helping address individual needs. Moreover, they have enough experience, of determining the abilities of young minds and guiding them towards the suitable path. For instance, the abilities of those capable of becoming a doctor are gauged by teaching professionals, and are encouraged into studying in that stream. For example, the potential of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Azad was discovered by his teacher who persuaded and guided him, helping him turn into a successful rocketry specialist, and eventually, the President of India.
In hindsight, disputes aside, while parents act as guiding light for their little ones by building their attitude, others, teachers, render additional qualities to help capitalize on the strengths developed in the family environment. Thus, attainments are impacted by both the families and external influences.
