Many people believe that they should spend their money to enjoy life at present. Others, however, think that they should save it for the future. Discuss both views and give your own opinion
There is a profound debate going on between diverse sections about whether money should be used to enjoy comforts in the current times, or should it be kept aside to bolster the future. Both the partisan factions harbor justified opinions which I shall analyze in the following paragraphs
To start with, a section, especially youngsters, is profoundly inclined ro using money to enjoy their life in current times: there is a general perception harbored by this group that life is uncertain and money is likely to lose its value as times advance. Moreover, they profess that as they get old, they are likely to lose their ability to enjoy anything since they will be overwhelmed by ailments and age-related disease. Therefore, it is quite practical to enjoy the exploits of hard work now, rather than waiting for some distant future. Besides this, there is another lobby that considers maintaining its social status and enjoying the facilities available in the present times.
On the other hand, some refute the notion and believe in creating savings for a secure future. They believe in the saying that one should always be prepared for the worst, and for that they must keep something aside for the rainy days to be able to negotiate unannounced crises and harsh times. Similarly, many also feel that without savings, one cannot plan a better future; hence, it is important to keep a part of earnings aside, so as to fund investments in higher education for children, bigger houses, and creating financial reserves for a comfortable post-retirement life.
Overall, even though both the views are true in their virtue, I feel that one should enjoy life and use earning for fulfilling their desires. However, savings should also be part of the monthly budget to cushion the future..
