Nowadays people are spending too much money to celebrate personal and family events such as weddings, birthdays and so on. Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Give your opinion and examples?
Celebrations render moments to make memories with friends, as well as relatives and cherish them for a lifetime. There is a lobby that believes these days extravagant parties, get-togethers, and so on, are in vogue. This essay will justify the rationale behind their perspective and discuss that of others.
In the contemporary era, people are busy with their hectic schedules. Due to which they do not get adequate time to spend with their loved ones. Whenever they get an opportunity to come together on special occasions, they try to make it memorable by spending lavishly on everything, from a wide array of food to trending decoration and so on. Moreover, Nowadays, this craving is inspired by the festivities organised by celebrities and many tend to emulate them.
Furthermore, some people like to flaunt every happy moment of their lives, especially in the era dominated by social media. They believe this practice elevates their prestige in society. Moreover, in yesteryears, by keeping in mind the unforeseen downturns, people believed in saving funds for their future; however, individuals of this era live in the present without giving a thought about the future and end up spending extravagantly.
However, the young generation is well aware of all the wastage of food and various other items in the events and its detrimental effects on the environment. To convey the message of sustainability, they rather organise events in a greener way thereby, saving funds which they further utilise in the welfare of the society by helping the needy and alleviating the world-wide concern of poverty.
To reiterate, despite some modest ways of celebrating by the young people, a majority of individuals squander money in a great amount on the occasions. Hence, I concur with the statement.
