Some people believe they should keep all the money they have earned and should not pay tax to the state. Do you agree or disagree?
It has become an intense topic of debate among many sections wherein, some believe that keeping hard earned money with them is far better than paying taxes to the state, while others feel that paying taxes is worthy and fruitful which provides indirect benefits to its stakeholders, citizens itself in numerous ways.
It is wisely said that money put to use is more fruitful than not to. Taxes collected from people are considered to be the major source of revenue for the state. The money collected is invested in various essential developmental services of the society. For example, building and expanding the infrastructural facilities, like communications, industrial estates, research and development venues that help the society march forward.
As a result, these developmental initiatives benefit the locals by affording state of art facilities, in terms of transportation, healthcare, education, and so on. Thus, creating opportunities for improving the living standards. Also, contribution made via taxes to the state overall helps in assisting people in need during natural calamities, and also during old age.
However, some people oppose the ideology of paying taxes to the state. They do not want to share the contribution from their hard earned money as they find it safe and secure investing in other schemes or saving money by themselves and trying to use it whenever required. Apart from that, lack of transparency in utilising funds is also one of the main reasons why people feel that paying levies is futile.
In a nutshell, taxes collected by the government are indirectly infused within the society for the betterment of its citizens as a whole and one must abide by the laws and try to pay taxes on time.
