Notwithstanding the former notion, there is a lobby which advocates that barring a few, most reporters are devoted to their endeavors, they travel places risking themselves and life of their family members, and rarely let any kind of inducements interfere with their professional tasks and render their services with great determination.
There are a plethora of qualities which these dedicated noble professionals carry. They are not prejudiced, and are impartial and do not form opinion on their findings. Apart from being non judgemental, they are empathetic towards society and avoid reporting which averts social discord. Furthermore, they have a clear thought process, great communication skills ;are fluent in carrying out investigations of the background of subjects they are reporting.
In hindsight, reporters have a critical role to play in society today, they risk their lives to gather information, and are always on their toes to afford masses with genuine inputs, regardless of the criticism they might have to face. Indeed, they are doing justice to their jobs.
