Ielts Essay Immunization should be mandatory
Radical advancements in medicine have afforded humanity a potent weapon that can help them overcome several diseases, right from the childhood, with help of a simple vaccination. This has, however, raised a moral and an ethical argument whether parents should be allowed to exercise their discretion of evading vaccinations for their little ones. I feel, this is an idea worthy of indignation, and any such rights must be wrested from the parents.

Health is a state subject; hence, to ensure that everybody in a country stays healthy, governments should be vested with the jurisdiction to decide providing safeguards to the populace, including inoculating young ones. Failing this, health budget allocations for combative measures are bound to shoot through the roof, when growing children would be afflicted by the ailments that could have been avoided by a simple medical intervention. These very parents, who chose to  evade immunization,  would come back asking for medical assistance for children who missed out critical preventive treatment.

Moreover, letting parents circumventing vaccination process, for their  wards, would amount to jeopardizing the very future of the society; the present state of physical and mental health of young ones helps forecast how the society would fare in the future. In case, little ones are plagued by ailments, that could have been avoided, and that could actually turn serious at a later stage, would cast an evil shadow on not only the overall health index of society but also impede productivity.

To sum up, it can be said that appeasing parents in this case can prove to be an expensive mistake: putting the health of the future of society at stake; hence immunization process in the childhood should be mandatory, regardless of what mothers and fathers think.

Modern communications mean that it is no longer necessary to write letters
Ielts  Essay MOdern Communication vs Letter

Present day modes of sending and receiving messages has overwhelmed conventional channels of communicating. This, as per many has eroded the usefulness of hand written letters though others have contrary views. Amidst all the controversy, I feel, despite being almost grounded, writing letters would survive the onslaught of the technology.

Digital mediums, like emails, have ushered in an era of speedy interaction; and made letters look obsolete and out of sync with the current requirements. People, no more need to struggle to first write words on a piece of paper, an exercise that needed a lot of planning and time, and then mail it to the targeted individuals or organizations – which would cost days and sometimes weeks to reach the destination. Now users just need into log onto their online accounts, type the intended messages and send them right away.

Moreover, there is little doubt about the practical use of the latest introductions of word processors – that assist with the spell-checks and offer a wide choice of fonts to use from – that have made life a lot more easier; letter writers  have been relieved from the worries of keeping their handwriting legible and also clear of any spelling errors – that had a potential of distorting the meaning of the content.

Nevertheless, some still have a penchant, especially elderly, for writing letters. For them, using this ancient art means exhibiting care, compassion and love; writing words with hands often is perceived as an indicator of serious approach of the writers towards someone or a matter, by virtue of immense time and efforts spent on scribbling words on a piece of paper.

In a nutshell, it can be said after looking at the views; although it may seem that written letters would be a thing of that past, there is a remote possibility of such a thing happening.

Ielts Essay Rich and Poor Gap
Ever rising income disparity is driving a wedge between the haves and have-nots. This has alarmed many social theorists and  economists: this could predispose society to several challenges, as per them. There is a need to explore plausible mediums to mitigate these challenges.

Widening gap in the levels of incomes of the elite and the destitute is leading to unwarranted consequences: there is an agreeable tension between the wealthy and impoverished class today, which is leading to jealousy. As the fault lines become more prominent, a mistrust among classes seems to be simmering. Consequently, there could be class struggles that may further precipitate into civil unrest and violence.

Furthermore, another impact of disproportionate distribution of wealth is also believed to be a major cause of increase in crime. As the desires of those, who lack resources, continue to rise – when they observe the prosperous class  enjoy the exploits of riches – they often resort to crime, in order to, fulfill those demands. This is a serious cause of concern: this might lead to deterioration of law and order in the society.

To overcome the challenges posed by unequal distribution of money, society must act fast. Governments need to usher in new policies that promote modern social and economic structure. Supporting poor with monetary assistance, like minimum wages and subsistence money, can go a long way. Besides this, certain non-monetary measures can also play a major role in mitigating resulting challenges: ensuring employment and free education and health services to the impoverished might also go a long way.

To sum up, the disproportionate distribution of wealth in the society is surely an issue to be taken seriously. However, even though not a panacea  certain steps, if applied judiciously can mitigate the challenge posed by ever increasing divide.

In some societies, stress is now regarded as a major problem and it is thought that people suffer from more stress than they did in the past. However, others feel that the amount of stress people have today is exaggerated. They say that previous generations were under more pressure, but the idea of suffering from stress did not exist. Discuss both these views and give your opinion in at least 250 words and mention any relevant examples from your own experience.

iIELTS Essay - Stress and Current Generation
There is a topical argument ensuing between different schools of thought, after emergence of stress as a major feature of modern lifestyles, as to whether it is a reality, or a hoax. Where some suggest, the present generation is afflicted by this phenomenon, others point out that it was the past generation that faced more pressure than today, and yet remained unaffected.

Stress today is ubiquitous, as per some. Working hours have stretched due to intense competition from rival businesses and colleagues; forcing people to remain confined to office cubicles for longer hours, and even on off-days. This is taking a toll on their personal lives: they are unable to sustain a work life balance; many find themselves juggling between fulfilling professional obligations, and addressing matters and concerns related to families.

However, some ridicule this view, and feel that the stress current generation is facing, is its own making. People in the past had to work and travel for longer hours: they did not have such advanced technologies, as available today, to their aid. However, they remained virtually unaffected by work pressure: they were practical, being aware of their  limitations and not being over ambitious, and hardly set any insurmountable  goals.

Besides this, stress is more of an overstatement today. It rising due to people not interacting with others, as openly as they  did in the past. Their over-engagement with  technology in leisure, is taking them away from the society. Many find themselves indulging in watching television; playing games on computers and hand held devices; and interacting with their virtual contacts on social media. Thereby, forcing them to forego opportunities to socialize with their families and peers.

To sum up, I feel, after assessing both the opinions, stress even though did not  emerge recently, seems to be afflicting the present generation more, but, the phenomenon is surely an outcome of over ambitious and over-zealous approach, it has embraced.
