Some young people like to copy the behavior and clothes of famous people today. Why might this be the case? What problems can it cause?

A bizarre phenomenon appears to be surfacing, nowadays, that of late,  numerous young minds have been emulating propensity, and dressing sense of renowned personalities. I shall ponder upon the forces behind this, and various challenges occurring owing to this.

At the outset, an army of people vehemently alleges that a myriad of factors are responsible for such an attitude. As per them, juveniles are immature, and thus, easily get lured by the luxurious lifestyle being showcased by celebrated personalities. Consequently, they tend to mimic the same. On top of that, they often get influenced by the attire worn by the famous individuals, and also desire to acquire the same since youngsters have a mindset that if they are not going to follow the former, it might make them look inferior in front of society

This can be corroborated by citing the outcomes of a survey conducted by The Forbes Magazine, wherein they stated that a prominent reason driving the inclination of youngsters following celebrities, is that they harbor a view that going with the trends reflects their social status.

This has worried several social theorists. They fear that this practice might expose young individuals to a plethora of challenges. Renowned people often display alcoholism and unacceptable behavior on their social handles, which could have detrimental impact on tender minds. Besides this, these personalities usually spend the lion's share of their income over extravagance, which may inculcate the same behavior in young individuals as well.

To cap it all, an affluent lifestyle being portrayed by the well known personalities, laden with comfort and luxuries, acts as a force behind such conduct of young people. This could expose young minds to several addictions, along with making them habitual of becoming spendthrift.
