In today’s digital age, anyone with a smartphone can capture and share photographs. This accessibility to photography diminishes the value of professional photographers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays,  many feel that ease of access to smartphones with the updated camera systems has made photography effortless, leading to decline in the relevance of professionals engaged in photography. Whether, or not this notion holds substance, is a matter worth delving deeper into.

It is  generally assumed that photographers are best in their business, nonetheless the advent of state-of-the-art cameras in smartphones have dented their influence remarkably. Most hi-tech smartphones offer various modes of photography with their software: portrait, video, cinematic , panorama, and so on, turning photography into an uncomplicated task that can be also negotiated by novices too. The resources available on the internet also have become a huge asset for the ones new to taking pictures, empowering those willing to learn the art, thereby forgoing the need to hire specialist services in an event of public gathering.

Nevertheless, many still hold a different view and argue that just taking photos and sharing them with a smartphone is not everything. Photography is an art that a professional performs with finesse and produces the outstanding results that an image or a video can have. If it were just about clicking pictures from a smartphone, why would major world events hire professionals to do the job, whether it is olympics, soccer, and theater, to name a few, everyone uses specialists to click images; they are adroit in determining the correct moments, light exposure, distance and even close-up and angles, making them stand apart from the rest, and letting their significance endure despite technological developments.

Overall, undeniably, modern technology has  challenged the supremacy of those with specialist acumen in clicking pictures; however, I partially concur with view this since the competence of these individuals is unmatched and still enjoy domination when it comes to capturing essential moments.
