In this fast-paced society, a school of thought believes that privately funded institutions should be restricted as they provide pupils with a superior advantage. This essay will critically examine this viewpoint before presenting a well-reasoned conclusion.

To begin with, some supporters argue that this educational institute should be closed  because this is widening the gap between the wealthy and the impoverished; these institutions charge high tuition fees that only the rich families can afford. Therefore, their wards gain  access to the state-of-the-art technologies: laboratories, computers, smart boards, and so forth. However, students from disadvantaged backgrounds are not able to compete with the ones studying in private schools; many publicly funded schools lack access to modern technologies and resources. For example, a study conducted by The University of California revealed that ones studying in non-public schools are able to learn the same mathematical concept more effectively through smart boards, visual representation of shapes and figures, and highly qualified teachers than their counterparts.

Nevertheless, many educationalists believe that private schools are the one that brings innovations: integrating AI with learning, and many more. This helps in improving the quality of education and also making it more effective .Moreover,  banning private schools would force  students to enroll in state-owned schools which provide free education to everyone. As a result, there will be a huge financial burden on the policymakers. Similarly,  schools could also become overcrowded. Ultimately, reducing the overall quality of education.

To conclude, I believe that privately funded schools should not be banned because they play a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality education. Furthermore, prohibiting them would place considerable financial pressure on governments and could lead to overcrowded public schools. Consequently, reducing the overall quality of education.
