To be accomplished in business, as per the modern theorists, one needs a professional training that can inform about various aspects of running a commercial activity successfully. I completely concur with this notion and feel that one, in the modern era, needs to be well-versed with business laws and environment, to ensure triumph in a commercial endeavor.

Primary reason for undergoing professional education is that it provides one with the knowhow about the business environment and its influencing factors in the era of globalisation. Every organization is facing cut throat competition which mandates exhaustive knowledge about prevailing market trends across the globe to ensure not only survival but also progress. This can only become possible if the prospective or existing business owners obtain these inputs by pursuing a professional course. It serves as a strong foundation. For instance, knowledge imparted  about various laws of economics by the professional educational institutions  coach a person to judge the changing trends of business and capitalize on arising opportunities.

Moreover,  it is important to have the knowledge about establishing and handling the organisational structures in a business for its smooth functioning. This ability ensures that the firm is being run effectively and efficiently with minimum efforts, sparing invaluable time to focus on other more critical areas of business. To gather the knowhow about the same, a to be entrepreneur must obtain expertise in defining organizational structure and hierarchy, which can be conveniently sourced from tertiary courses. For instance, the curriculum taught at IIMs in India have proved to be a key contributor in development of many profitable start-ups.

To recapitulate, I would like to say that the success of commercial activity cannot be completely relied on innate skills alone thereby, undergoing tertiary education bolsters the chances of being successful.
