In some places stores are open 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Do you think it is good for customers, shop staff and community?

Nowadays, in some areas, shops remain open round the clock to cater the needs of the inhabitants. There is a lobby that believes this advancement is advantageous for the buyers, the personnel and the society. This essay will justify the rationale behind their perception and explore whether this is favourable or unfavourable development.

Many have hailed this arrangement and this can be attributed to several causes. In the contemporary era, where people are busy in their professional and personal realms due to the gruelling schedules, this development renders them an opportunity to shop according to their convenience without pushing them to take out time from their hectic regimes for the auxiliary activity like shopping. Furthermore, the access extended especially by medical shops at the wee hours proves to be extensively conducive in case of emergencies, thereby serving the community in adverse situations.

Moreover, the facility of shops available round the clock is of great afford for the employees working/deployed at the stores since in addition to increased salaries, a rich profusion of perquisites are bestowed on them in the form of money as well as gifts due to the rotational shifts and job at wee hours.

However, the primary purpose of earning more which is to make their family content gets perturbed since they fail to devote time to their loved ones owing to the regular job without a respite, resulting in the reduction of family time. This entails twisting of relationships, thereby leading to home related stress.

To reiterate, despite some negligible negative aspects for the store staff, the round the clock availability of merchandise extends numerous benefits to shoppers, employees and society in the form of convenience,  effectiveness and amelioration of the financial health of many.
