Ielts Essay - Foreign Universities and Challenges

Nowadays more and more people aspire to travel to foreign countries for academic pursuals. This trend has also raised many controversies where some people advocate foreign destinations for education, others strongly feel that it is always better to complete studies in the home country.-

The people who strongly recommend foreign varsities for pursuing education feel that this lays opportunities or better standard of education at the disposal of the pupils pursuing excellence in their academic domains. As per them there are many specialized international universities like Harvard which have no global parallels and studying in a varsity can help students enhance their skills and capabilities and avoiding varsities as these can prove to be a drawback for people seeking finesse.-

Moreover, studying in a foreign country also helps pupils to develop broader approach towards their subjects as they get exposure to various kinds of educational resources. They also get informed about and exposure to variety of viewpoints of different cultures which helps them to develop a rational perspective towards various aspects of their subjects and eventually their lives. -
On the contrary, many people who feel that obtaining education in one’s own home country is laden with numerous advantages like student have all access to moral support of the family and friends, they do have to undergo the undue stress of performing in an alien country. Moreover, they have all access to various resources back home as they are quite used to system and procedures in their own countries and they do not need to waste time in grabbing these essential inputs in a foreign environment.

In conclusion, I feel that although, getting education in a foreign land can have certain degree of advantages but it is always better to accomplish pursuals in one’s own country IELTS ESSAY

Ielts Essay - In many countries children are engaged in some kind of paid work

To work or not to work as a child is a big controversy nowadays. Many sections of people across the world consider this trend as malady on human society. There are some who think this phenomenon actually brings in advantages in form of an opportunity for growing children to garner critical work experience and also learn about being responsible.

Those strongly contending this trend feel that a child must not involve in any kind of work and labor in formative years; these are meant for fostering personality and inculcating constructive habit, which can only be cultivated by studying in schools and playing with peers. Pushing them into taking up jobs and employment robs them of their privilege of enjoying their childhood. This trend as per these people is the most inhuman aspect.

Besides robbing juveniles of their childhood pleasures, taking up work at young age distorts young personality; they rarely get opportunities to learn and grow up as other children; often end up going astray, and embracing wrong habits and diseases; eventually,  hampering their growth in later years.

On the contrary, in many developed countries this arrangement is perceived as favorable: taking up a job besides studies and other extra-curricular activities helps youngsters grab essential knowledge, and enhance their skills that could be in line with the would be profession and field of practice of young ones. That is the parimary reasons for universities in western hemisphere encourage a break for a year in studies as part of syllabus to facilitate young ones to garner work exposure.

In my view, involving children in employment as compulsion is definitely a wrong precedent, but if this forms an integral part of studies, it helps children to grow up into refined adults.

Ielts Essay - Co-education or Gender Specific Schools

Nowadays most of the schooling institutions are working on co-education system where boy and girl students study in same classes and get education in same groups. Even in this scenario there is conservative thought that professes separate schooling for the pupils while the people with progressive thought think that coeducation system is advantageous and beneficial for both sexes. - IELTS Essay

The conservative section links its opinion on basis of the material difference in the aspirations of pupils based on gender difference. They feel that girls and boys have different levels of intelligence and their requirements are strongly contrasting. While the boys tend to be more loud they happen to overwhelm the girl pupils and thus the girls do not get equal opportunities in a coeducation establishment, so to lay an equal amount of opening and chances at disposal of both girls and boys it is better to send them to gender specific schools. - IELTS Essay

On other hand, the people who are progressive and have accepted the reality of the modern times, point it out clearly that educating pupils of both genders in same schools is need of the hour as today the women also actively participate in professional ambitions after completing education and there they have to work with the male members in same environment and surroundings. The co-educational institutions give an ample exposure to both the genders thereby creating an acceptance towards intermingling of genders and thus creating harmonious environment.

Besides, comfortable environment co-education also prepares the students for competitive life as adults irrespective of gender and this education system also helps to eradicate gender bias among sexes.

In my view, coeducation system is not only a need of day but  it is an innovative way to train students to be better adults.  - IELTS Essay

Ielts Essay - Clothing and fashion

Apparel and connected trends have always impacted on communities ever since humans started establishing themselves in form of cities and towns. With this a parallel trend of raising controversy about the favorable and unfavorable effects of this phenomenon has also picked up momentum, matching paces with the developing fashion.

There are severe ramifications of this trend: it is generating wasteful expenditure and encourages extravagance. Most of the times, people rarely care for the money when it comes to buying garments that correspond to the modern styles, and aspirations: most will not mind paying double the actual price for a new clothesline that has  just been released as a part of a new collection, repenting later for imprudent spending.

Similarly, this industry is churning out humongous wastage of physical  resources as the clothes that have made and styled as per the latest trends will not last more than a specific tenure, and after these apparel and accessories are out of fashion, they will be deemed useless and they cannot be recycled like other materials. To corroborate, every year almost every clothing company reports creating a colossal deadstock that cannot be disposed with, causing them humongous losses.

Nevertheless, a school of thought deems the impact of phenomenon in apparel as extremely beneficial, and feels that, apart from reflecting fresh attitudes and bolstering creativity, vogues in clothing is associated with changing times, and it helps one realize the changing tastes and preferences. Mankind has survived in close clusters of big and small communities, and the style of diverse attire have reflected the sophistication and uniqueness of individual social groups.

In conclusion, I would say that even though the undercurrents of fashion business and clothes have umpteen detrimental aspects, these have also fuelled style and innovation throughout the ages.
