Some people prefer one-on-one lessons, while others like groups. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
There is no age and defined way to get knowledge and learn. People have different ideas for the various ways of learning. There is a lobby that believes learning in a group is the most beneficial, while others are in favor of one-to- one sessions.
Individual classes are always considered to be more focused for a learner, as there are many people who are hesitant to ask their queries in a group. They are introverts and find it hard to put up their queries while learning, whereas in personal classes, they learn at their own pace and take their own time to absorb the concepts. Besides this, the learners enjoy undivided attention from their tutors and also do not face disruptions due to other students, especially unruly classmates.
On the other hand, there is a school of thought that vouches for group settings. Students grasp the knowledge quickly when they share their views in the class along with peers. In addition to this, they learn from the errors made by other students and correct themselves while studying in a batch. Pupils adapt to learning in a competitive spirit when they study along with others. Many surveys have been carried out for the same in the past. In the recent one by Professor Burbidge from University of Texas states that 87% percent of people, who have studied in group classes, are more confident and do not have a fear of engaging, facing or speaking in public.
Overall, as per my view, a personalized bracket for studying is more advantageous for those who fear speaking among others, while learning with others exposes one to wider perspectives and allows learning from the mistakes of others. Therefore, I feel both approaches are effective, but vary as per priorities.
