Ielts Essay - Money or leisure
In a struggle to make both ends meet and make life better, people are lost in the humdrum of earning more and more money. But does being cash rich make life really good? It is a topic to ponder seriously as some people really value free time for a good living.

Inclination towards healthy finances has obvious reasons.  A good financial standing is considered to be a critical component for a good living standard since this factor can help people to procure everything deemed necessary for a comfortable life. A big house, swanky cars, a various modern gadgets that make life simpler, etc. have become a fad  among the masses, and these can only be had if one has enough to pay for and bear connected expenses. Moreover, ensuring a good education for kids is also a factor that counts up to a good life, and for that too, money is a vital aspect.

Similarly, healthy economic background has a valid case to be seen as a pivotal factor for many since only rich can enjoy a lavish lifestyle. Travelling overseas and to exotic locations for vacations; staying in plush hotels; and dining out in trendy places and eateries, is regarded as a true indicator of happy living, and the ones who cannot afford, are deemed as sub-humans and looked down upon.

Nevertheless, those prioritizing leisure time over money cite their own rationale. As per them, humans are social animals and for that they need some free time. This helps to rejuvenate, relax, as well as leave some time for the family and friends to experience the real pleasures of life: the closeness and intimacy.

Henceforth, although people have heterogeneous views on this issue, I feel both the aspects have a pivotal role to play in the quality life.

Ielts Essay - Violent Games
Electronic media has overwhelmed mindsets of humans today, especially kids are the most vulnerable group since they are easily influenced by the content of these modern means of entertainment. This is surely having numerous negative effects on the young minds, however, solutions to cope up with this problems are available on hand.

It has been observed violent content being showcased is distorting the growing mindsets. Children, after watching such content or playing such games try to emulate whatever they see or experience. This often results in aggressive behavior: many studies suggest that juveniles, as innocent and ill-informed they are, tend to re-enact what they experience in the graphic content with their peers, family members and around. The impact of such violent content can be substantiated from the reported rise in juvenile crimes that range from petty shop lifting to instances of more serious nature, such as carjacking and even homicides.

However, many social theorists and child psychologists are of the opinion that  the evil can be nipped in the bud itself if some cautious and judicious steps are taken meticulously. These may include regular and close monitoring by parents and counseling the children from to time to enlighten the growing minds about the difference in the virtual world and the reality. Parents could even use some out of the box methods such as involving themselves in the activities with the kids and discussing various aspects of games and programs. Apart from this, some stern steps could also be taken: imposing a complete ban on games, serials and activities that propagate and promote aggression.

Henceforth, I personally feel despite content depicting savagery being galore, situation can be handled by taking certain prudent steps and keeping children under close vigil.
