In contemporary times private schools are believed to have revolutionized the schooling  system, but a school of thought believes that they should be closed as they afford their students unfair benefits, and cause  disparities. This has resulted in  a profound discussion. In this essay, I will analyze up to what extent the proposal of closing private formal tuition is justified.

To commence with, those lobbying behind the notion of doing away with privately run schools, based on their assumptions, feel that the kind of facilities these  institutions offer to the pupils creates a permanent gap between the haves and have nots. These establishments render extensive study support, in the form of modern facilities, like smart classes, up to date courseware and expert faculty, which students of public schools can only imagine. Such disparity leaves the latter at a disadvantage since they are never able to garner proficiency in the subjects they pursue, making them incapable of matching professional skills which those studying in private undertakings can effortlessly obtain.

Having said that, some commentators dismiss such a thought. They assert that  private education is playing a vital role in the education system since it has provided innovation  to the education system which is benefiting society. These institutions have introduced the latest methods that have allowed students to gain vast knowledge in every area, be it academic, or extracurricular activities, which has made it possible to raise the standards of education. In fact, these have set benchmarks for others to follow and bring around improvements. Closing them, thus, will only result in chaos.

To recap, I strongly believe that imposing a prohibition on  these schools would be a huge loss for society. The objections raised by critics of such institutions should be ignored for the public good.
