Whether people follow precedents set by others or not have always ruled the minds of social thinkers. While some people think that copy cats came into existence much before humans started to settle down in civilized societies and this trend continues in every walk of life even today, there are some people who think that humans are masters of their independent thought and they do not need others to show them the way.

People who propagate concept of independent thought among people feel that thinking and aspirations of two individuals vary greatly and they are seldom overpowered with compelling factor of following examples of others whether it is choosing clothes, adapting to latest fashion or buying some consumer goods.  If this would not have been the case there would not be so many companies flourishing in market today. Independent thought and likes and dislikes about colors, styles and gadgets have always been the purview of individuals and they know what to choose independently.

On the other hand, there is lobby of people who feel that humans have continued following examples of the other people when it comes to leading a life. They are influenced by different factors like the social status of people they follow and their charisma in the society for e.g. while living in a neighborhood it has often been noticed that neighbors living close to a highly successful people follow their footsteps especially in behavior, clothing and even choice of cars.

Besides this,  the people who feel that copying has been in vogue since long strongly put across a point that communities from poor nations always love to follow lifestyles of nationals of richer countries.

In conclusion, I feel that following others in every walk of life has always been in fashion.

Happiness is a very essential element for a healthy and satisfying life and people do everything to achieve this. There are diverse views on the definitions of this factor and different people represent different opinions on elements that define and bring about happiness.

In conclusion, I feel that happiness is a state of mind which can only be accomplished by applying self control and abandoning pursuit of self centered motives, but many people fail to realize this fact and they pursue this dream in vain.

With internet and television gaining prominence as mediums of carrying and accessing information, many people have started adapting these media as a viable alternative to traveling for gaining knowledge to different locations but there is a sizeable section which feels that there is no substitute to actual travel to enhance the knowledge.

As life gets busier and more complex some have completely adapted themselves to assessing internet and watching television to enhance their knowhow base about happenings and developments in adjoining neighborhoods and across the globe. They feel that this can save them substantial money and time and they can also get comprehensive information about the subject being pursued. These people use various web portals and apps to gain access to the inputs and in fact acquire  knowledge about the precise locations of happenings with several advanced apps like Google earth.

On other hand, there is large section of thinkers who feel that the conventional way of enhancing the inputs and exposure to the outer world: physical travel can never be superseded by the virtual mediums. As per them, come what may actual travel helps experience and see the real dimensions and essence of the happenings and subject being pursued, something that can never be attained using virtual media.

Moreover, in order to gain first hand and unbiased information about the subject of the pursual it is important for the people to actually be there in middle of the happenings as the information flow in case of the internet and television actually travels through many junctions and its impartial clarity is always questionable.

In conclusion, I feel that even though internet and television have successfully replaced many mediums of gaining inputs but travelling will remain unchallenged source of enhancing knowledge.

With the planet fast transforming into a global village, people have started traversing across the cities often transcending political boundaries in pursuit of greener pastures. This has brought diverse issues faced by those relocating under a critical scanner. However, there are plausible ways to deal with emerging challenges. 

Collecting inputs about the diversity and peculiarity of the area where people are moving to, is always useful. It is quite fruitful to carry on this exercise as people who ensure gathering some credible information regarding various factors like weather and climate, lifestyle, food, culture, traditions and habits of locals before moving into new area are always at advantage as getting acclimatized with new environment before migrating physically helps migrants to adjust to local environment quickly. 

Besides learning about the lifestyle and habits of the local populace, picking up a clues about local language and dialect always goes a long way in enabling one to integrate themselves with the destination communities effectively. Bolstering communication skills as per the host environment, assists the migrants in intermingling with the inhabitants of that area without impediments, and forging trust and meaningful relations. Not only this, one can also find it easy to survive unwarranted situations and also

 On top of that, as per some experts, embracing positive attitude always helps. Individuals moving in into new territories should always to intermingle with masses and not maintain separate identity; those easily adapting to local clothing and mannerisms find themselves at home in a new area faster than those, reluctant to change. 

 

In conclusion, I feel in order to surmount hurdles posed by diversity and difference of aspirations of the region being migrated to, people must become receptive and try to adopt local habits apart from grabbing linguistic skills of the host society.
