Most people spend major part of adult life at the work, in which case job satisfaction is an important element of individual well being. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? In these times people are spending major part of their lives in their offices, among the co-workers. This makes it necessary to analyze Job satisfaction of the Employees for the welfare of their well-being.

Job satisfaction involves many factors that help and assist in improving the working environment of an organization. These ingredients can be monetary benefits such as, appropriate Salary enhancements, Bonus and performance linked Incentives. These help great deal to motivate people, which in turn augment mental satisfaction levels of an individual. Financial stimulus is biggest component of motivational tools that enables people to participate in their family with more resources, in turn leading to unparalleled benefit to a worker’s mental preparedness.

Besides monetary inducements, there are other channels, which positively bring in rich returns. These include really innovative methods, like providing a well furnished and ventilated office environment, by increasing the opportunities for workers to actively participate in  organizational activities, by helping each individual to enhance his skill by organizing trainings and workshops. Rewards such as, promotions and trips linked to the performance also help a lot. Some extra frills such as facilities for refreshments and Mid-day meals are good specimen for the workforce to feel at home even in the stressful environment.

However, several drawbacks are cited in concept of being content with employment. According to them, this state is an immeasurable quantity and can be never achieved in real terms. Any new innovation introduced for welfare of employees tends to become obscelete as the levels of expectations of the people always keeps rising and thus causing an inevitable jealousy, discontent and friction among the colleagues.

In conclusion, I believe personally that Job satisfaction is definitely unavoidable factor that can make a big difference in One’s being happy and being frustrated.
