The great public discourse of the contemporary era is a time aligned with the issue of whether measures should be taken to minimise the consumption of non-renewable fuels. I press for an urgent international action to alleviate fossil fuel use

It has been seen that as the population is incrementing rapidly, engendering the need to expand activity in every economic sector to ensure fulfilling human needs, resulting in rec  in reckless milking of naturally occurring carbon-based propellants, ignoring repercussions: it is feared that if this is allowed to continue, the future generations might not have access to this premium natural resource, impeding their progress, and making their survival tenuous. As per several studies, the current consumption and exploitation patterns indicate the possibility of these materials becoming extinct within the next four to five decades. However, embracing these measures will act as a motivation for adoption of renewable resources like electricity.  

    

Moreover, the complications extend beyond resource depletion, the surging use of these materials is also becoming a menace for the environment as  the combustion of these substances lead to the release of various greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide and  monoxide,and so forth, exacerbating the pollutions levels and accelerating global warming, which if not contained, could turn the planet into inhospitable, owing to the unwarranted impact such as rising sea levels, unannounced droughts and floods, among others, of this climatic phenomenon, affecting every human activity, right from agriculture to sustaining friendly weather,  and also other forms of life. 

In hindsight, mitigating the use of fossil fuels is critical for sustaining economic activities in the future and also prevent the earth from turning hostile for humans and other creatures that co-habit it. Thus, it will be in the interest of mankind to act swiftly, and global action can help accelerate things.

Favorable 

• Now the elderly, or young people do not have to struggle to earn a livelihood and support their life

• Where senior citizens will not face mental hardships, the young will not have to take to crime. 

• The aged will not feel abandoned, and the young will be able to gain requisite experience and a chance to develop their skills 

• Companies instead of focusing on age are prioritizing experience 

• This can save companies and country more money otherwise spent on training freshers 

Detrimental 

• Companies will be forced to select even those who are unfit or less skilled for a specific job 

• Create unemployment among more talented people and deprive society of chances to harness the real talent 

• This might organizations financially as the overaged people might require extensive medical support, while inexperienced young people might cause accidents and damage to equipment

It has become a common practice in some parts of the world to forbid businesses from turning down job applicants on the basis of their age. While some believe that this is a favorable evolution, others think that it is detrimental. 

Some believe that this will help the elderly, as well as the youth alike since on one hand, the former can find employment even when they are retired, or nearing their retirement age and support themselves financially by earning money and not depending on government grants. On the other hand, youngsters looking for their first jobs do not have to struggle and rely on their family resources, and become independent as soon as they finish their graduation. 

Besides this, this policy is also likely to keep senior citizens away from several health issues, mainly mental, because remaining idle, and not being able to get enough money is known to create numerous psychological disorders, affecting their well-being adversely. Similarly, the youth can also be prevented from committing crimes or resorting to drug abuse. 

However, some sections are quite critical about this arrangement because they feel this is an injustice towards companies. Every employment giving agency selects workers according to their requirement that is based on the complexity, intensity, and efforts required for work, and if they are prevented from exercising this right, they will be forced to shortlist even those unfit for the job, mentally or physically. Consequently, their productivity might be hampered, impacting their operations, and resulting in losses. 

In hindsight, disputes aside, there may be some drawbacks of this system, but they are rare as applicants apply for only those positions about which they are sure what they can perform. Nevertheless, this will stop age-based discrimination and allow one to use their skills.

As per the conventional belief, it is shrewdness that bolsters the ability to take ownership, nonetheless I fail to subscribe to this notion, and shall elucidate my stand in the following paragraphs. 

This view hinges on the age-old perspective that those with calculative acumen are able to effectively analyze the situations, draw strategies, and use their resourcefulness to translate their findings, and desired actions into comprehensible  directions and instructions for their followers. Similarly, some even suggest that the ability to access the mindsets, and make adjustments in their style of governance, can make a great difference, and this trait is possessed by only those leaders who are crafty. 

Nevertheless, to put oneself in the driving seat, one needs to be courageous and imbibed with preparedness to foray into any kind of circumstances, and turn the tables on adversity. History is witness to the exploits of such personalities who were dedicatedly followed by their subjects, armies, and also the general public of their kingdoms and countries, into victory and defeat; they had the charisma and fearlessness to show direction to others and they used counsel of their intelligent advisors to devise strategies.

Moreover, honesty, transparency, and proclevity to set benchmarks for others to follow, are some other essential attributes that make those in commanding positions stand apart from the rest of the crowd, and others are coaxed to adhere to guidelines. To corroborate, the legendary Indian industrialist Jamshedji Tata actively engaged in the production line of his first steel factory which fueled enthusiasm among his workers who eagerly  embraced his ambitions and mission.

Hence, it is the combination of  characteristics like fearlessness and the adroitness out of which leaders are born, and one does have to be brainy to convince  others to follow them.

It is a fact that lack of resolve leads to debacles. 

Yes? 

• Those who are unwilling or lack perseverance are rarely able to invest their whole-hearted efforts. Those who are determined attempt to try alternative strategies to attain their goals 

• Those driven by a yearning for success try to obtain all skills and resources that can lead them to triumph

• It is not just the craving for pinnacle that helps one attain their goals, but the timings of the action matter a lot. 

• It is also the preparedness and skills that chart the course to goals.

Is lack of success truly an outcome of the absence of the sense of purpose, is a notion worthy of a critical analysis since it can be challenged on various grounds. 

It is generally assumed that missing goals is an outcome of weak desire, wherein one tends to invest half-hearted efforts, is prepared to abandon their endeavors midway on discovering that things are not going as per their desire, and mandate extra efforts, but still do not guarantee the realization of objectives. This can be corroborated by citing the examples of a few students who despite harboring dreams to enroll in the elite universities, are unable to do so in reality since they are unprepared to burn midnight oil. 

Nevertheless, although the former view may hold some substance, it is not ubiquitously valid; there are other underlying factors that can make a difference between an intention to pursue an ambition and accomplishing it: availability of resources has a major impact on the outcomes as lack of these can make efforts useless. For instance, almost every society boasts of the presence of highly skilled and talented individuals, nonetheless only those born in wealthy nations can make it to the pinnacle.

Similarly, the timing of actions have a great relevance since if moves are miscalculated or mistimed, even the best in their domains can fall short of their desired targets. To exemplify, even the best players like Ronaldo can put up a disappointing show and waste opportunities to score goals if their shots are ill-timed.  

In hindsight, the dearth of resolve can make its impact felt in certain cases, but it is hard to overlook the significance of having necessary ingredients like presence of appropriate mediums, and meticulous synchronization of moments and actions, which can lead to attainments.
