Ielts Essay - ITtechnology

The way the IT is spreading its wings across, many have started fearing outcomes of this rapid proliferation; many fear that this may lead to creation and widening of fault lines between groups of those who are fast adapting to this innovation, and those who are critical though there are some who find this idea to be ridiculous

The fears of the wedge growing between the ones who know and those who do not have anything to do with information technology seems to be quite real. This may, as feared, lead to friction among workers at work places where each group may find itself guarding its position jealously – considering their way of working to be more useful, in order to sustain its superiority over their rivals by impeding work of each other.

However, there is surely a lobby that harbors a more realistic view on this issue and rules out any kind of social discord among the people. Today, when many are adopting use of information technology in every sphere of their personal lives, others, nears and dears, are also  getting influenced since having ability to use this innovation is considered to be a mark of sophisticated lifestyle and intelligence. This is inspiring other too to pick up skills of using IT based facilities.

Moreover, the chances of social conflicts due to being and not being IT-literate are remote. Even in work places, the ones who resent use of this new technology are due to retire in near future, and the companies now are employing only those who posses IT skills. It has, thus become imperative for all aspirants to become tech savvy.

Hence, I completely disagree with the notion of social discord occurring due having and not having knowhow of using information technology.
