IELTS ESSAY WHO SHOULD CHOOSE SUBJECTS

Over several years of last century, as the education system has evolved radically, central educational authorities are vested  with the task of defining academic curriculum. This system has umpteen merits, but some criticize this procedure, and feel that educators must be take onus of this task.

To start with, those strongly supporting this arrangement profess that the tutors are closer to the pupils and have a better access to their intelligence levels. This first-hand information about the level of comprehension can help them in deciding the areas that can be easily grabbed by the learners, as per their aspirations, and also aid in bolstering their skills.

Having said that, those cynical about this defy this notion overtly, and vouch for the national authority deciding the study programs, quote that every country faces a steep challenge of harmonizing academic disciplines and syllabus across the nation, within single grid, to help assess and evaluate the intelligence of learners on the basis of single criteria list. This can help engender a strategy to develop a comprehensive education system that is offers equal opportunities to all pupils, but educators lack an in-depth view about heterogenic geographical socioeconomic backgrounds and requirements of the populace

Additionally, teaching professionals lack access to broader perspectives and abundance of resources that can help devise and develop such study material that can assist greatly in enhancing the knowledge of future generations at par with updated trends and developments. In contrast, a national educational body can effortlessly attain this goal.

In overall analysis, I feel that it is better for a central agency to take care of establishment of curriculum as it helps in ensuring a reliable and comprehensive system that not only guarantees delivery of standardized education but also ensures a better evaluation system.
