Showcasing local customs is becoming one of the prominent means of generating income from the travellers hailing from other parts of the globe. Many are in the favor of the above notion and feel that this will help preserve the native culture. However, there are a few who register their disapproval.

Some are cynical about portraying traditions with commercial objectives, out of fear that this might prove detrimental for the authenticity of customs. There is a potential danger, these traditions may gradually become simply the modern means of entertainment, which will initially blur the distinction of customs, by virtue of being altered to make things comprehensible for aliens, and finally leading to extinction since many might start following those greatly modified practices.

Nonetheless, a few are quite optimistic about this exercise and are of the view that many cultures have already disappeared due to the rapid development of modern society. Thus,  it is the need of the hour to make the native cultural traditions witnessed and appreciated by the tourists, so that these could be acknowledged across the globe, and hence visible.

Moreover, using these to make money to engage leisure travelers is considered quite practical since many would consider it as a novelty and hail it. Beside this, it might become a tempting profession amongst local youth, who may be overwhelmed by the financial benefits such work might help drive in. Consequently, preserving and perpetuating tradition to the next generation may become an easier task, and thus prevent them from being lost forever.

To conclude, I personally feel that although making cultural traditions profitable attractions can save them in some respect, the potential perils should by no means be ignored as it would eventually make the values and authentic flavor fade in the future.

Children are facing more pressures nowadays from academic, social and  commercial perspectives. What are the causes of these pressures and what measures should be taken to reduce these pressures?

The contemporary generation of juveniles is predisposed to pressing demands posed by their studies, the society around them and the overwhelming influence of the media in all manifestations. The source of these challenges are visible, but the panaceas os elusive. Thus, one needs to dig deeper.

The most prominent source of immense load on young minds is the need to perform at formal tuition. Constantly rising emphasis on testing has made life miserable for youngsters as they are caught between two extremes, learning and preparing for examinations, leaving them with little time for extracurricular activities. The crisis further deepens when parents also raise the bar of expectations from their wards, which many times also mirrors the social perspective. Since every parent wants their children to outperform those of their peers and social connections.

Similarly, peer pressure and perspectives formed by engaging with electronic games television and the internet have a far reaching impact on tender minds who are required to adhere to the norms established by their mothers and fathers, and also address their own aspirations, fostered by engaging with those of their age groups and various external sources of  information. Most are found facing a dilemma.

However, the panacea for this predicament can only be found if schools and parents make joint efforts. Where the former should reduce the frequency of the examinations, the latter should stop comparing their offspring and start seeing them as distinct individuals. Furthermore, there is also a need to make expectations more realistic besides, monitoring how young ones interact with the outer world.

In hindsight, although the situation is bemusing as youngsters face numerous uncertainties, things can be improved and life made easier for them  if parents and schools act prudently and embrace a sensitive approach towards young individuals.

Some people believe that public transport should be funded by the government so that it is free for users. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

Why

  1.  It will allow the impoverished / destitute / economically weaker (poor) to travel to their desired destination….

    1. Enable them get employment  away from their homes

    2. Obtain education anywhere

    3. Reduce economic disparities blur the class difference to some extent

  2. It will also attract car owners, who will be inclined to abandon their vehicles and switch to public modes…

    1. Lesser pollution

    2. New roads and bridges will not need to be constructed.. Lesser ecological damage due lesser clearing of trees

  3. *** Lesser fuel import bills

Why not

  1. It will impose a financial burden on the government.

    1. If no levies are charged from commuters - maintenance  and expansion of  public transport framework would become difficult

    2. To arrange money, governments would have to divert funds from other more important initiatives and programs.

    3. Impose higher taxes on people

  2. There is a good chance that this facility might me misused

Should mass transit be afforded without charging access fee universally, is a million dollar question, for it does seem to offer some benefits, but the concerns raised are far more serious, and cannot be disregarded.

To commence with, the enthusiastic support for this suggestion stems from the assumption that this could empower the marginalised by allowing them to fulfill their travelling needs: seeking employment ,or education, in distant locations without needing to pay through their nose, something beyond their means currently. Moreover, many might be tempted to abandon their personal vehicles, and switch to public commutes, thereby mitigating traffic jams, and eventually, air pollution.

Nevertheless, such a move is bound to prove counterproductive and recipe for disaster: the state will have to bear an additional burden of not only sustaining the public transit network, in its current manifestation, but also impede the modernisation process,by virtue of the state bearing operational expenses such as fuel and spares, as well as the staff. Down the line, the system would become unsustainable and  unprofitable.

Similarly, this policy is likely to precipitate misuse, with the majority using buses or trains, and so forth, without any concrete purpose, causing unwarranted wear and tear to the fleet and rolling stock. To corroborate, such an arrangement has been tried and later abandoned across umpteen cities like Sydney, Moscow, and New Delhi,to name a few, wherein it was observed that nearly 75 percent of users, even during peak hours, were casual travellers undertaking journeys just for leisure, forcing authorities to roll back the plan.

In hindsight, this facility should be offered discreetly to those really needing free of charge travel  in mass medium of transportation, to ensure appropriate utilization of public assets and resources, and prevent abuse.

Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn about current events. However, others believe that they can learn news better through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn about current events. However, others believe that they can learn news better through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some uphold the notion that newspapers are the best medium to stay up-to-date with current affairs around the globe, while some profess that there are other methods that are more convenient. This essay shall delve deeper on this matter and come up with a plausible conclusion. An army of people proposes that the traditional method of gaining knowledge of the happenings world over are irreplaceable; these are considered to be accurate since most of the people engaged in presenting reports in this tool are devoted and unbiased professionals and committed to the task of ethically researching and presenting facts, convincing many that the learnings they find in this method are genuine. Besides this, several experts lean for this way of informing themselves since it does not require any special intervention to access news. For example, these can also be read in the areas where there is absence of electricity and network. Nearly half of the global population residing in remote areas depend on this paper-based tool of enlightenment about occurrences in any domain. However, some contest that electronic mediums are more suitable; one does not need to wait for the next morning to know about events taking place the previous day. At times, there is very little information provided in the newspapers due to the limitations of pages, and words, for an article published; therefore, many have turned to other media such as television channels, or their personal devices, to gain up-to-date in-depth inputs about anything. To conclude, in my opinion, traditional methods of disseminating news, despite lacking facilities that modern tools can offer, boast of enjoying unswerving trust of audiences due to well-researched reports being presented in this medium.

More and more young people from wealthy countries are spending time in communities in poorer countries doing unpaid work such as teaching or building houses. Why is this? Who benefits more from this, the communities or these young people?

The young generation, hailing from affluent regions is reaching out to the underprivileged to help them grab opportunities to help them compete with the rest of the society to create a space for themselves but some are with the notion that this is only profiting the upper classes. This essay shall delve deeper about the causes on who benefits from such programs and come up with a justifiable conclusion.

An army of people is convinced that the youngsters who were born with a sliver spoon in the mouth would only be willing to participate in activities or careers that can be fruitful for themselves or their families; there is a trend among some to show the masses that they are humble and down to earth individuals and they can do so by being involved in charitable work which proves to be non-profitable for them. It is commonly seen many young celebrities would partake in non-profitable organizations or even fund individuals to support their educational or professional pursuits, which later discovered to only be an act to gain attention from the public to create a name for themselves. This instals a believe that the young rich generation would only perform acts of helping the needy if it serves them a greater purpose than those actually in need.

However, others do not agree that the youth who are gifted with the wealth would utilize it for the purpose that would only benefit them if they do unpaid labour of providing for the poor section of the society. This might be an opportunity for the lowest class to be at power by using this supportive environment that has been given to them, people also see this as a measure to bridge a gap between these communities.

To conclude, communities must take measure to uplift their social and economical status, by using all the support they can receive even from the young individuals who are willing to help them achieve such a distant dream.

Some people believe they should keep all the money they have earned and should not pay tax to the state. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people believe they should keep all the money they have earned and should not pay tax to the state. Do you agree or disagree?

It has become an intense topic of debate among many sections wherein, some believe that keeping hard earned money with them is far better than paying taxes to the state, while others feel that paying taxes is worthy and fruitful which provides indirect benefits to its stakeholders, citizens itself in numerous ways.

It is wisely said that money put to use is more fruitful than not to. Taxes  collected from people are considered to be the major source of revenue for the state. The money collected is invested in various essential developmental services of the society. For example, building and expanding the infrastructural facilities, like communications, industrial estates, research and development venues that help the society march forward.

As a result, these developmental initiatives benefit the locals by affording state of art facilities, in terms of transportation, healthcare, education, and so on. Thus, creating opportunities for improving the living standards. Also, contribution made via taxes to the state overall helps  in assisting people in need during natural calamities, and also during old age.

However, some people oppose the ideology of paying taxes to the state. They do not want to share the contribution from their hard earned money as they find it safe and secure investing in other schemes or saving money by themselves and trying to use it whenever required. Apart from that, lack of transparency in utilising funds is also one of the main reasons why people feel that paying levies is futile.

In a nutshell, taxes collected by the government are indirectly infused within the society for the betterment of its citizens as a whole and one must abide by the laws and try to pay taxes on time.

Some people believe watching films is a waste of time. Do you agree or disagree?

Agree

  • Passive entertainment that does not stimulate any senses

  • Can create wrong notions about people, approaches and also instigate distorted behavior

  • People can go into state of disconnection from those around them

Disagree

  • Helps relax, rejuvenate and also entertain

  • Can be a healthy distraction from mundane life

  • Can graphically represent and promote national, social and communal aspirations, and deliver important messages  subtly

  • Help viewers satisfy their craving for adventure, suspense, horror, profound situations, and so forth

Those skeptical of motion pictures term engaging with this medium as squandering invaluable time. Even though this perception has been widely propagated, it is misplaced and lacks substance.

The  cynicism surrounding the use of this audio visual medium cites sporadic instances in support. This media is blamed for being unproductive and instigating distorted behaviour, wherein viewers, especially those with  deviant thoughts,  waste hours in sedentary postures, and instead draw inspiration from the plots, and engage in illegal behaviour. Nevertheless, umpteen human behaviourists allay these fears, and profess that the overwhelming majority, even youngsters, can differentiate between reel and real life, and consume such content to satisfy their craving for suspense, sufferings, and committing antisocial acts without partaking in them.

Nevertheless,  this prolific tool of entertainment affords the most plausible medium of earning a healthy distraction from the mundane of hectic life, most humans are condemned to lead, and not only unwind but also rejuvenate fatigued minds and bodies, helping prepare one to go back to the same routine of meeting social, personal, familial, and professional obligations, with a refreshed mindset. Historically, mankind has indulged with various forms of art, to surmount hurdles posed by exhaustion, and films are just the modern manifestation of the same art.

Similarly, viewing movies can render an enriching experience by exposing music, acting, scenic views of the location they are shot in, social and traditional practices, and so forth, to those watching these. Many admit gathering knowledge about diverse regions, cultures, peoples, locales, and so on, by viewing cinema, without actually traveling

In hindsight, disputes aside, this allegation is founded on misconceptions, and unproven narratives; this way of entertaining oneself has empowered everyone to derive healthy and safe entertainment, besides obtaining abundant knowledge about disparate  corners of the world.

In the modern world it is possible to shop, work and communicate with people via internet and live without any face-to-face contact with others. Is it a positive or negative development in your opinion? To what extent do you support this development?

In this contemporary era, the internet has afforded umpteen benefits since individuals can shop online, besides engaging in professional endeavors without even visiting workplaces. I shall elucidate whether it is a favorable evolution, or not.

At the outset, an army of people vehemently professes that benefits fetched by this are overwhelming. For instance, telecommuting has allowed individuals to work flexibly from the comfort of their home, owing to this, one can now even serve in MNCs such as Microsoft, Google, and so on, without transcending political boundaries. Besides this, rather than becoming part of chaos at market places, one can shop online from a myriad of choices at their disposal.

Similarly, many are now moving to other nations for jobs since they can now maintain contact with their kith and kin through online sources. This can be corroborated by citing the outcomes of a report published by The Hindustan Times, wherein they stated that the more and more professionals migrating to alien nations for employment worry less about their families as they find it easy to stay in touch with their loved ones.

Nonetheless, this trend has invited a plethora of challenges. While this has hampered the growth of local enterprises, various individuals are exposed to a sedentary lifestyle since they have to sit in front of a 13 inch LED during their working hours. Other than that, it has also been observed that individuals are often bereft of essential qualities like confidence and communicating skills since they hardly interact with their peers and clients in the real world.

Overall, even though rich yields are afforded by this development, it is hard to overlook the detrimental aspects of the former. Therefore, despite being a favorable phenomenon, this arrangement should be adopted discreetly.

Nowadays children are consuming too many sugar based drinks, what are the reasons and solutions for this situation? Discuss and give reasons for your answer in at least words.

Nowadays children are consuming too many sugar based drinks, what are the reasons and solutions for this situation? Discuss and give reasons for your answer in at least words.

Aerated/ sugary/ soft / with high sugar content

It is being observed that in contemporary times, young ones are extremely fascinated  towards beverages loaded with sugar, which is harmful for their physical and mental well-being. There are various factors driving this phenomenon, which will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs along with some plausible solutions.

To commence with, parents are the primary source behind this newly emerging propensity among youngsters. They regularly consume soft drinks in front of their children, and store these products in their refrigerators. They follow the footsteps of their mothers and fathers and are inspired to do the same. Several juveniles accept that they embraced cold drinks as a ritual since their elders themselves consumed these quite frequently, and brought these home too.

Additionally, glamorized promotions techniques are adopted by companies to attract young minds. Firms hire eminent personalities, and famous characters for the advertisement to attract such audiences. When the latter see these ads on television, they are tempted to engage with such materials. Moreover, due to being laced with caffeine and added flavors, these products are very tasteful and youngsters become addicted to such taste.

This alarming situation has made it imperative to discover potent mechanisms to combat this challenge: parents, school and the state. Families should minimize and replace high sugar content drinks with healthy and tasty homemade options such as fruit juices and shakes. The policymakers  should impose high taxes on these commodities to discourage the consumption of unhealthy  options. Schools should guide pupils about the aftereffect and prohibit them from bringing these drinks to school premises.

‘

To conclude, the growing fondness among young individuals for sugary drinks is driven by aggressive publicity, encouragement by families and peers, but this menacing situation can be countered by adopting certain prudent measures at familial and institutional level such as prohibiting their use at homes and at school.

Developing countries should be encouraged to implement high tariffs to grow their local industries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Developing countries should be encouraged to implement high tariffs to grow their local industries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Agree. Why?

  • This would provide level playing field to the local entrepreneurs who can match their output on the basis of the prices

  • This could persuade MNCs of elite regions to set up their units in poor nations by tying up with local organizations

  • This would promote business and employment, development

Disagree, why?

  • This could problems for local manufacturers, causing the prices of the local produce to spiral

  • This could prove to be counterproductive: prosperous countries will reciprocate in the same manner

Should impoverished nations erect protective trade barriers, using import levies, to bolster domestic businesses, is a perception that invites mixed responses, with some vouching for it, others outrightly rejecting it. Both the perspectives are supported by justified views, and thus, cannot be overlooked.

This  policy is perceived as a formidable/powerful tool of rendering a leveled playing field to commercial enterprises and industrial units, endemic to a country, that have to otherwise struggle hard to survive the stiff competition presented by large global organisations, hailing primarily from prosperous societies, and enjoy an upper hand due to colossal financial resources, and state-of-the-art technology, available at their disposal. Therefore, such an arrangement would help native business owners by making their produce competitive. For instance, countries like Brazil have imposed heavy taxes on sports goods, brought in from the other parts of the world, to assist the local budding industries, and this system, or rather a gamble paid off well; local sports brands of this country have gained immensely in terms of local and international recognition.

Nevertheless, despite being eulogized, deployment of this policy in absolute terms is likely to boomerang, for the other countries will behave in a similarly hostile manner, and reciprocate with equally excessive charges on goods being procured from the regions following this practice. This will offset any benefits derived as the exports can be hampered extensively, resulting in loss of foreign exchange. Likewise, local manufacturing of several products, using imported components, will become expensive, and affect the native consumers quite unfavourably by taking goods out of their reach.

In hindsight, in a highly globalized world of contemporary times, enforcing this kind of set-up will have severe ramifications, turning the future of native industrial landscape into bleak; thus this should be confined to only certain sectors.

Nowadays, many people, with families, leave their country to work abroad. Do you think the benefits of this trend outweigh the disadvantages for the families? Give your opinion and include any relevant examples.

Positive

  • The families can access chances to obtain better career opportunities, lifestyle, education

  • They get to experience diverse environment and develop a better perspective towards the world

 Negatives

  • Youngsters lose the touch with their family members, traditions, rituals

  • There is a sense of alienation among family members

It is commonly believed that family immigration with an intention of seeking greener pastures, can fetch umpteen benefits, but do these eclipse the challenges this process poses, is a matter that needs a critical analysis.

The exodus to  the other parts of the world, generally affluent, to realise professional ambitions, along with spouse and children, can precipitate  ease in settlement in alien surroundings by preventing  the feeling of homesickness among settlers. Where those working are spared of lonely surroundings haunting their homes, and the desire to be with their loved ones, family members also do not have to worry about the safety of those shifting to other countries. The skilled family immigration programmes hosted by countries like Canada and Australia are the true specimen that highlight the relevance of such a propensity, allowing effortless integration with the host society.

Similarly, it becomes uncomplicated to monitor the rearing of the little ones; they can get all the attention of both the parents, together with the guidance. Moreover, this can deepen the trust and the bonding between two generations since youngsters have no one to rely upon other than their families.

Having said that, one major complication that is cited quite often from such relocation is the next generation becoming detached from their native ways of life, rituals, and extended families. Some migrant families have reported experiencing such difficulties, wherein their wards find it hard to embrace their own traditions, and communicate with their cousins.

In hindsight, I concur with the statement that the rewards of relocating with family members to other regions of the globe, in search of work, outshine the drawbacks, and firmly believe that the latter can be overcome by engaging children in cultural activities of their home country, available in the destination society.

Some say that students should concentrate only on the subjects that they like. Others suggest that they should focus on all school subjects. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Some say that students should concentrate only on the subjects that they like. Others suggest that they should focus on all school subjects. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

A school of thought professes that pupils should focus to strengthen their area of their interest to excel in academics, as well as future professional forays; however, others believe that all subjects are crucial for overall development of learners. The forthcoming paragraphs shall analyze both views exhaustively and share a plausible conclusion.

To commence with, many believe that learners feel self motivated, and passionate towards the domains that appeal to them, and readily invest time and effort enormously  studying, resulting in better outcomes. According to one survey, one can keep themselves engaged in learning something of their choice for a long time without needing any external intervention from their parents and teachers, and churn out brilliant outcomes, as compared to other subjects. Moreover, they can delve deeper and derive detailed knowledge about their favored fields, and bolster their chances of a successful career in that realm, by being able to grasp technical intricacies about the prospective occupation faster than their counterparts.

Nevertheless, those cynical quash this proposal by asserting that the full syllabus is essential for the overall development of students; this will assist them to overcome challenges in their personal and professional life. By pursuing domains like literature, they will broaden their horizons and augment their creativity. For instance, learning languages, mathematics, history, social studies, and engaging in extracurricular activities can help them to garner analytical skills and rational decision making, and problem solving abilities, and many more that will aid them growing up as well-informed adults.

To end the discussion, it is essential to cover the curriculum comprehensively since  growing minds need colossal sensory inputs to learn extensively and  negotiate challenges in all walks of life effectively. Thus, this suggestion of pursuing only favorite areas of study, cannot be complied with at all.

It is important for all towns and cities to have large outdoor spaces such as squares and parks. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is important for all towns and cities to have large outdoor spaces such as squares and parks. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Creating open air spaces such as green areas and other public domains in urban locales is mandatory, as per some. This proposal needs a deeper analysis to assess whether it is acceptable, or not.

Open areas such as gardens and parks help urbanites in numerous ways; for instance, increasing the concentration of oxygen, and mitigating pollution caused by industries and expanding population. This could help alleviate levels of harmful toxins in the air. Besides this, these locations could also afford people a chance to exercise, improving their well being as a consequence. Additionally, these also behave as recreational areas for children, affording them  space to play in and enjoy the years of their childhood, encouraging them to engage in outdoor endeavors instead of staying indoors. Apart from that, such areas could be utilized to generate revenue by building some eye-catching figures and rides, creating opportunities for leisure.

On the other hand, a few argue with the fact of having such large lands wasted, and could be utilized in a better way, by building more houses for the increasing population of the world. They term this suggestion is sheer squandering of invaluable real estate, something that is in scarcity in cities. Implementing this arrangement will send land prices shooting through the roof, making it hard for many urban dwellers to afford living and working spaces, encouraging urban sprawl as a result, and spreading pollution and ecological disasters beyond the outskirts of the already congested urban locales.

To conclude, even though the critics have some valid concerns, large places such as parks have their benefits and are crucial for improving the quality of city life. Therefore, I concur with this proposed policy.

Some young people like to copy the behavior and clothes of famous people today. Why might this be the case? What problems can it cause?

Some young people like to copy the behavior and clothes of famous people today.

Why might this be the case?

What problems can it cause?

A bizarre phenomenon appears to be surfacing, nowadays, that of-late,  numerous young minds have been emulating propensity, and dressing sense of renowned personalities. I shall ponder upon the forces behind this, and various challenges occurring owing to this.

At the outset, an army of people vehemently alleges that a myriad of factors are responsible for such an attitude. As per them, juveniles are immature, and thus, easily get lured by the luxurious lifestyle being showcased by celebrated personalities. Consequently, they tend to mimic the same. On top of that, they often get influenced by the attire worn by the famous individuals, and also desire to acquire the same since youngsters have a mindset that if they are not going to follow the former, it might make them look inferior in front of society

This can be corroborated by citing the outcomes of a survey conducted by The Forbes Magazine, wherein they stated that a prominent reason driving the inclination of youngsters following celebrities, is that they harbor a view that going with the trends reflects their social status.

This has worried several social theorists. They fear that this practice might expose young individuals to a plethora of challenges. Renowned people often display alcoholism and unacceptable behavior on their social handles, which could have detrimental impact on tender minds. Besides this, these personalities usually spend the lion's share of their income over extravagance, which may inculcate the same behavior in young individuals as well.

To cap it all, an affluent lifestyle being portrayed by the well known personalities, laden with comfort and luxuries, acts as a force behind such conduct of young people. This could expose young minds to several addictions, along with making them habitual of becoming spendthrift.

Computers today can quickly and accurately translate languages, therefore, it is a waste of time to learn a foreign language. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The great public discourse of contemporary times is aligned with the issue of whether acquiring alien linguistic skills is a squandering of precious time, or not, when software-driven translation facilities are available. I shall profoundly analyze this matter and elucidate my inclination.

An army of people vehemently lobbies behind the idea that now undertaking a language course is wasteful. As per them, this is a time consuming process since it usually takes humongous time to get a good command over a language, whereas using automated tools to transfer the text from one to the other tongue can allow one to complete the task in a few seconds.

Besides this, this innovation affords the convenience of converting the content into multiple languages effortlessly, there is little rationale left in spending money on language courses as a feat of mastering multiple dialects is beyond imagination for humans. To corroborate the outcomes of a survey carried-out by Delhi University revealed that only a few Individuals were inclined to  learn an alien language, owing to a plethora of softwares available in the smartphones to convert audios and texts into multiple tongues. .

Nevertheless, undeniably, knowledge of foreign languages is pivotal to clear communication between cultures. Humans rely mostly on in person interaction and use of technology is bound to create a gap, due to faulty interpretations by machines: these can extend their services to the phrases and lexical resources present in their database. Thus, automated facilities can only help in casual communications and not important ones.

In hindsight, even though by virtue of the advent of computers, for many commentators learning other languages may not be worthwhile,  it is hard to overlook that language is a human forte, and  thus can only be operated effectively by humans.

Nowadays more and more people want to live by themselves. What are the reasons? Is it a positive or negative trend?

Nowadays more and more people want to live by themselves. What are the reasons? Is it a positive or negative trend?

Causes for such an evolution

  • Generation gap - conflicts between parents and youngsters - ones wants freedoms and others want their rules to be followed

  • Young people want to experience the world on their own now

Benefits

  • They can experience the life on their own:

    • develop a broader perspective,

    • independent personality,

    • can become well-organized

  • Become better managers of their own affairs and life

  • Peace of mind

  • Non-complaining attitude

Drawbacks

  • Absence of proper counseling can make them

  • Prone to making mistakes

  • Inability to control their temperament

  • This tendency is making people unsocial and  unfit for family life

  • Feel lonely since they do not have anyone to share their happiness and concerns with

Ahmer 06-April - 2023.

In contemporary times, many want to live alone and relish their life. The following paragraphs shall discuss the drivers of this ideology and also explain that it is a favorable or a dismissive trend.

To start with, many are resorting to this lifestyle to save themselves from various conflicts that mainly stem from the gap in both the generations. Young individuals want to spend their life carefree, but on the other hand their mothers  and  fathers want to impose their thumb rule on them. Moreover, nowadays, a large section of society wants to experience the world on their own, to discover various possibilities of life, and such a way of living acts as an adventure to them.

This way of life allows one to lead their life on their terms, providing them opportunities to experience negotiating things like cooking, cleaning and many more household chores on their own. It turns them into independent personalities and they start learning how to organize things by themselves. Additionally, they start managing their monthly expenses that provide them peace of mind. Moreover, it decreases their complaining attitude regarding various things as they start taking ownership of their actions.

On the other hand, a large lobby of commenters believes that living alone can make one vulnerable to mistakes that can harm them mentally and financially. People can easily lose their temperament and feel lonely as no one is there to share their happiness and concerns. Moreover,  this kind of trend is making individuals unsocial and unfit for a family life, exposing society to severe implications.

To conclude this, living independently gives various benefits and makes an individual a better person for the society as they know their responsibilities better and can handle them without the intervention of any person.
